Freud was probably abusive to his daughter so I don't think it's going "too far" because they loved him, but maybe because she was his victim (dm me if you want to know the backstory about his daughter).

Articles I read claimed he was closest with her, but.. Even outside if it was like that... Is it really right to abuse someones abuse for a joke post? It's funny with psychologists who argued with him publically and shit, but the woman he married? At what point does 'its funny because its true' become insensitive?

Mod Note: I've been think about this for the last two days and I want to know everyones opinion. I've gotten both Freud's daughter and mother as a request and I think it's ironic, but part of me is saying that saying they hate him (whether they did or not) is too far given they're family members. Could I have some input from followers here?

freud and jung got so tense sometimes you could cut it with a knife. freud would have frequent fainting spells just from being in his presence, and accused jung multiple times of harboring death wishes toward him. they were NOT buddy-buddy. however, its ironic that you mention them being an 'OTP,' as jung once confessed to freud that he had feelings for him, but said it was the result of trauma from earlier in his life. his shame for this is part of why he refused to keep working with freud.

If someone told me when I started this blog, there'd be discussion about Carl Jung and Sigmund Freuds relationship, I would never believe it.
