NU’EST JR and Ren Selected as Cosmetic Brand Models, Likely to be ‘Laboitte’

The long-awaited first CF is finally here - after weeks of eyeing our timelines in hopes of activities, it has been revealed that NU’EST JR and Ren have been selected as unnamed cosmetic brand ‘L’s model. The CF filming is expected to start soon.

After some rummaging around, fans have found that among the ‘L’ brands available, Labiotte has been running a Produce 101-related promoting campaign on their official site. Thereafter, accounts of fans consulting the brand directly for confirmation have been spreading like wildfire, and it seems like the duo will be endorsing not just one collection, but the whole brand itself.

Merchandise is also in lieu of discussion, and it seems like Labiotte China will likely bring in related goods and items as well. Fans can definitely look out for promotional activities with the brand soon.

In related news, member Ren will be making an appearing in the Inboxing segment of Yang Se Chan’s Ten2 on 27 Jul, with the airing date brought forth by a week.

NU'EST Ren to Show Different Charm on JTBC2 'Yang Se chan's Ten 2'

NU’EST Ren is scheduled to be on JTBC2′s Yang Se Chan’s Ten 2′ in the ‘Inboxing’ corner, where he is said to showcase a different side of him from Produce 101. This marks a NU’EST member’s first appearance on a TV show after the end of the survival show.

Yang Se Chan’s Ten 2 is a life-friendly ranking show that aims to solve the problems of your daily lives and release said frustrations. The show is hosted by comedian Yang Sechan, and Cross Gene’s Takuya and Shin.

Due to positive reactions, the programme’s PD Hong Siyoung has uploaded behind-the-scenes photos to thank the fans for their interests. L.O.V.Es can head on over to his public insta account to send some hearts on the photos as well.

The filming took place on 29th June and is expected to air on 3rd August.

PLEDIS CEO Updates With Long Awaited OT5 Selfie, Draws Attention With Caption

NU’EST fans rejoice as PLEDIS CEO took to his Instagram to update with a long-awaited selfie of all five members, taken after Produce 101′s Finale Concert today; this marks the first group photo revealed after four members were announced to be participating on the said program, and Aron was spotted showing support by turning up in the audience.

L.O.V.Es were buzzing not only because the photo was taken recently, but also at the captions, where the hashtags labeled the boys under their stage names. Considering how Baekho, Ren and JR had entered the survival program under their real names and having returned to a trainee status, this seemed to mark a return as NU’EST members.

In related news, the four participating Pledis boys have successfully wrapped up the finale concert alongside fellow trainees from various companies, performing to legendary stages from the program. A total of top 35 trainees participated in the 2-day concert.

JR has apparently mentioned that he’s been writing lyrics and preparing for their next album in his solo vapp just few hours before, so it would not be long before we see the boys on stage again.

Hwang Minhyun believes in Kim Jonghyun as Leader

JR (Jonghyun) for 5 years has taken all burdens from the 5 Nu’est members onto his own shoulders. He was only 16 then in 2012, the youngest leader ever to debut. Imagine being a kid with all that responsibility. Yet he wants them to succeed even more than himself.

About 3 years ago at a Japan concert, he read out a letter to the members, and broke down crying saying he has failed as Nu’est leader.

Unfortunately, he still thinks he has failed, so for Minhyun (who has always tried to make JR see he is the best leader) to say he believes in Jonghyun in front of everyone means SO MUCH.

I cannot explain in words how emotional this made me. I pray Nu’est rise after Produce101.

But can we just talk about ep3 for a minute? And about poor baby Jonghyun? Not to make anyone sad but, it broke me.

When he saw Minhyun coming in through that door and he just went on and thought ‘Why are you here? Get out.’ He trusts them to do well, even though, it’s not their fault, they are tired and frankly, I hope they don’t give up fighting. Even if MNET is evil, even if the editing makes you like this, don’t give up. We can see the good in you. So others will too.

When they had to pick the leader for Minhyun’s team, and everyone choose Jonghyun, but you could see it in his eyes, he didn’t want to be a leader.

Jonghyun said that he’s afraid to be a leader, because he doesn’t want to fail them, to let them down, like he did with NU'EST and I can’t really cope with that. He didn’t fail NU'EST, he didn’t broke their promise, they are a team. A leader shouldn’t carry all the hardships and all the blame on his shoulders, a leader doesn’t mean it’s all on you. You can ask for help, you can rely on others. You don’t have to apologise to Minki and the others for going up to B Class. They will do better, they will follow you.

This child blames himself for everything and apologises for things he didn’t do or shouldn’t apologise for.

But then Minhyun went on and said, 'I believe in Jonghyun.’ and I felt like crying. Jonghyun shouldn’t carry the burden alone, and yet he does it.

Someone please stop this child, please protect him. Because I can’t stand watching Jonghyun being in pain anymore. I can’t stand watching Minki cry. I can’t stand looking at Minhyun being so tired and I can’t stand looking at Dongho how he almost lost all hope.

PLEASE PROTECT NU'EST. THEY DESERVE THE WORLD.
