For those who RPed with me
Hello, Iâm kind of back and intend to restart roleplaying.
However, this post wonât be all lovey-dovey. Please bear with me.
First of all, thank you again for writing with me, I genuinely enjoyed all our threads and the warm welcome I got!! I went on a hiatus, because real life kicked in and sadly itâs still here.
I donât want to do this underhandedly, so I post it publicly: I have to drop threads. Iâm really sorry about this, but I wish to reply to threads in 3 days maximum, and I canât do it with having this many.
I intend to play with you guys again (if you accept me) and with new people too, but for now, I have to cut down on the number of partners I have and stop accepting starters.
I didnât choose who to keep and who to leave based on your writing skills or on your style, but the connection between the munsâas in, do we talk frequently on Skype or not.
@tame-the-flame, @thatgal-withthepinkhat, @lionessofthestars, @rubrumleonem, @homesickpxladin, @oflionsandappeal (tho we didnât really continue): Thank you again and really sorry for both disappearing and dropping our threads!! I hope we can play again in the future.

Iâm kind of satisfied with these results?
I love to see five 50% traits, because I always imagine Coran to be two-sided in a way. Not because he has to keep up appearances around the princess, but simply because he is older now, with an abundant amount of experience.
Even though he was once loud, bold and adventurous, those days are gone. The flame is still there, but he learnt to control it, fueling his insatiable thirst for knowledge with it.

He was about to get stabbed. He was about to die.
His long life flashed in front of his eyes, recapping all his memories in an instant, as Pidge was flying towards him. They were alone in the control room, the paladins being out of castle, with the communication channels closed. He had nothing against the traitor.
And yet there they were. Coran and a paladin who left their ranks, prioritizing their own goals over the universeâs well-being.
Small arms curled around his waist, a face forcefully pushing into his abdomen. The hit squeezed out the air of his lungs and made him stagger back, flinging his hands around to recover his balance.
When he stood on two feet again, he realized the clasp around his chest was anything but dangerous. It was tight, firm and desperate for attention. Small hands clutched his uniform on his back, pulsing with uncontrollable force: a force fueled by distraught over their inability to speak their mind.
Were they sorry, were they regretting their actions? Did they miss their team, did they suffer from the difficult choice they made between their old and their new family? Coran did not understand the message itself, but its intensity resonated in his entire body.
He cupped the back of their head and stroke their hair with slow, gentle moves. Pidge was still so, so young, he thought. They still had to learn a lot about life and find out what they wanted to do with it.
However, for now, he could not do much but to close them in his arms, creating a small world where they were in safety, where they were in place, and where they were perfectly all right.

Silence.
Months of silence.
Shiro had been waiting for months- he didnât know how many, to see if anything turned up. Unfortunately, right after they had saved Allura, for some reason, they had all beenâŚ
Well- he was stranded in space. Again.
The sand of the planet reminded him of the mountains near the Garrison. It was incredible how he was still able to remember, after being far from earth for so long. He had gotten accustomed to space. But at least⌠he had a family. A group of people in whom he could trust.
But now they were all gone, stranded somewhere, like him.
He stood behind the fire, trying to get warm in the small cave. At the same time, his food was cooking- if he could call it food. He was just trying to survive, just like they had taught him to.
He had learned to survive in the planet- he had known how to scourge for provisions, how to Â
Then the silence stopped.
Sounds- steps, to be precise, were heard on the distance.
Standing up, his fingers taking on the known, purple color, he prepared for what was about to come.
6 months had passed, after all. He couldnât trust anyone- or anything.
The ship was still not functioning properly. After they passed the wormhole, the castle's system time crashed, rendering more than half of their modules unusable. The mechanic had to spend a day on restoring everything from the main control panel to the defences. It was not difficult to pull an all-nighter this time: the realization that they had lost the entire team kept both of the Alteans wide awake.
They used the same method as they first retrieved their lions: Allura looked for the lions' signal, rather than searching for the paladins themselves. The black lion was the closest to them, thus they set out to rescue it and its pilot first. They could not lose time. Time... That was a really confusing term back then.
Coran was the first who noticed that their maps were not synchronized with reality. However, he did so right before entering the wormhole, and only luck prevented the complete disaster: they nearly jump drived straight into a planet that should have been in a different position on that day.
It was incredible. Even ten thousand years ago theories existed on wormholes that are so powerful they distort time and spaceâbut besides raw calculations, the Alteans had no more information on how they would affect their surroundings, how they would affect the people entering it. Would they need special suits to withstand its force? How much bar of pressure would fall on themâ?
Coran looked around. They lived. But when?
After the castle landed on the surface, Coran equipped his battle gloves and put the small transceiver on his collar. Dusk was upon them, but finding the black lion was quite an easy task: as far as he could see, he saw nothing but sand and mountains. It was a rather dire environment, something that was even less colorful than the surface of the dying Balmera.
He reported on his situation once he got close to the lion and its shining barrier. It closed down itself, which was definitely not a good sign: on the other hand, it did not hide itself, so its pilot still might have been alive. He opened a panel through his watch and looked for life signals. Apart from a few arachnids and rodents scattered around, there was a stationary one, somewhere in the caves.
Could it be Shiro? Or had the lion chose a new paladin already?
He furrowed his eyebrows and walked towards the stranger. He could not stand around and cook up theories on what happened, especially when he was not sure how much time had passed. Moreover, the princessâ distressed voice, calling him from time to time kept his legs moving. He could not forget her panic, the heartbreaking expression on her face when she realized everyone was gone.
Hearing her crying, when she thought Coran would not hear her, would have made him fight even Zarkon itself.
When he got close to the entrance of the cave, he saw the shadows dancing at his feet. Someone lit a fire inside, so there was indeed a pilot there. But what kind of? Would it attack him? The big, white gloves on his hands pulsed with cyan light, and he tensed and relaxed his fingers before stepping out. He did not sneak up on him, nor he wanted to fight him: he planned on revealing himself from far away, hopefully out of armâs reach, so whoever faced him would know his peaceful intentions.

âI guess?â she shrugged, following after him. âI mean even if I did the spell again, whoâs to say itâll send me home?â Trisha pointed out. âI mean I flew across the freakinâ multiverse hoping I would get to school!â
She paused and thought about it. Why would the spell go wrong though if it was a teleporting spell? Was there anything else she was thinking of besides school that veered her this far off course?? ââŚCan I see the book again? I kinda wanna try something?â Might as well give this theory a shotâŚ
"Well, that is true, but sooner or later you would end up at home! Or at least a planet that does not try to kill you."
Coran smiled at the girl. She seemed to be around Lance's age, and he was quite sure Lance would make a move on her if they met. It might have been a good idea to not to rush back to the castle...
"Sure, go for it! But this time, try to use magic on things around you, instead of yourself. If you focus too much energy at one point, it could explode."
He tried to support her, but it somehow turned into a warning... Or a very strange way of cheering.

âYeah, maybe a little but not enough Hunk. And I wasnât talking about Zarkon anyway. Coran mentioned it.â Coran who has also just mentioned something about being banned from the training room.Â
âWait what? Coran, no way you - you canât do that!âÂ
Hunk leaned in over the console of Yellow to stare at the radio. âWell what do you suggest, Keith? A stroll in the park? Group activities? Everyone playing Yatzy? How are we supposed to get stronger as a group when all we do is get attacked by Galra all the time? Fighting by ear isnât exactly the best environment to grow a healthy working relationship here.â
Coran was putting up his demands for Keith. âOh woah!â Hunk cringed. âIs-isnât that going a little over board here?â
He did not want to say 'Hunk is right' again, he just hoped Keith actually listened to him.
"Since you cannot listen to reason, I figured you will listen to power," he replied. And by 'power' he did not mean empty threats, because he did not revoke his words. He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"Too bad I am not Shiro, so I have to do things like this," he mumbled to himself, but his radio transmitted it perfectly.
"Finish your training, then come and eat lunch!"

âVoltron wasnât any help back then, it - we got torn apart! If we canât even stick together in formation, then Iâd say weâre pretty powerless anyway. From where Iâm standing, getting stronger outside of formation is important. â Â

âWasnât it Zarkon that forced us to be torn apart? We have gotten better at the whole staying together thing. And what does that fight have to do with me being just a leg now?â Hunk pouted.
His moustache twitched with irritation.
âHunk is right! And you would get even better at staying together, if you got down from your high horse!â Speaking informally was not Coranâs style, at least not when he was calm. âYouâre banned from the training room until further notice.â
