She was always honest with me. She told me, “yeah, he’s a great guy when he’s sober”, but what if we both weren’t. Does that make us awful people? Or are we using each other as well and should be treated like equals. It’s not for the feeble or weak minded to really have to disconnect from innocent and guilty because, is there really such thing? One night stands repeatedly feel a lot like a bee sting.

That’s not me anymore, that’s the disease. The part of me I usually don’t let others see. The woman who you’d meet and never believe went the wrong way..but when she did you could play her like puppet strings. There’s this person who’s always worsened by the chemicals, but then she finds herself after the physical interactions, disgusted. Wondering why she let any man have a part of this. Something that should be sacred, but was never taught that love was something that was never bought or people fought about daily. I’m far from crazy, would never ask you to save me. I’ve been gone for a long time. That self realization where you’ve been telling everyone you’re just fine, when really you’ve been hurt one too many times to feel it. I’m not just here when it’s convenient, I’m honestly the woman you’d marry the fuck out of and wonder why she’d love you harder than herself. I know it all too well. (C)
