It was strange to see the optimistic and extroverted teenager in suspended animation. She was used to him joking, laughing, challenging Riku whenever he could and running all around the islands. Around the worlds. The only time he was ever quiet was when he was asleep, and barely even then. An almost ironic chuckle leaved her lips as she joked. “Sixteen years of nonsense and it takes being encased in crystal for him to shut up. But had it been anyone other than Sora, I couldn’t promise that he wouldn’t have broken something by accident.”

“I’ll get the message to them right away. Once they receive it, I’m sure they will be ready to help in the research in every way they can.The tears slipping from Yume’s eyes startled her. She wiped them away, nodding at her guide’s commentary. “Sorry about that, I’m not usually this emotional. Thank you so much, Mr- huh, I never got your name.”

“Yozora.” He spoke out his name in a rather calm manner as it seems she was already set with the thought of bringing her friends back here. It might be a little crowded..but would it really be that bad? Heck Yozora remembered the days where he was always surrounded by a sea of friends, those were simpler time yes but still they were days he’d never trade. Before He had even gotten the chance to inform her to meet him at Shibuya station his ears already caught the alarm blaring within the facility, a red light flashing repeatedly allowing its hue to decorate the vicinity.

Quickly Yozora headed towards a computer and swiftly typed away until camera feeds within the city displayed something upon the screen. There were monsters attacking the people up above..black monsters..like the ones in his dreams. “Those are the things I see in my dream..” Though Sora was suspended his light never faltered, it was still incredible and enough for the heartless to sense and wanted to devour.

“Yozora. It’s nice to meet you then, I’m Yume.” She introduces herself. It felt a little ridiculous only getting his name after the fact, but at least they aren’t entirely strangers anymore. Yume almost couldn’t wait for him to meet the other Keyblade Wielders, she was sure it wouldn’t be too chaotic. Part of her wanted to give Yozora a quick summary of her friend’s personalities to prepare him, until the flashing light and alarm blaring in her eardrums caused her to flinch. Blue eyes frantically caught the sight of the cameras and her own heart seemed to stop. “N-No way. The Heartless. . . they really are here. “

The black creatures scurried across the screens, yellow eyes gleaming at their next victim. A flash of Destiny Islands crossed her mind. This had to be stopped before it got out of hand. Her hand twitched, she wasn’t sure whether to summon her weapon or send an alert first. ‘No, location first. The alert could be sent on the way.’ She inhaled deeply, steeling her nerves. She turned to Yozora, face serious for the first time since they met. “Where is that? Please, I need to eliminate them before it gets worse.”

“Our close friends, it’s a long story. You don’t seem like a person who enjoys crowds, so I’ll see what I can do about the amount of visitors.” Yume couldn’t help the smile from her face. Once she can report back, the first visitors would most likely be Riku, Kairi, Donald and Goofy.

Following her guide through the city, she kept quiet and observed the pathways they took. ‘A weapon?’ While it was true, everything was different from what she was used to, it didn’t feel malicious enough to draw her own keyblade, or any other blade she had on hand. “Well, call me naive, but I trust that you wouldn’t go through any dangerous parts.”

“Oh! That’s fascinating!” Intrigued blue eyes watched the wall create a doorway. Any, and all thoughts dissipated when she spotted the crystal. There he was, Sora. It was a little hard to see his features, but that was her brother. No doubt about it. She slowly walked up to it, placing her hand on its surface before turning her head. “He’s an idiot, but thank you for keeping him safe. Even if its like this.”

A person who doesn’t enjoy crowds, yeah she hit the nail on the head with that statement. But still he wouldn’t be as cruel as to prevent the boy’s loved ones from seeing him..even if they came at the dozens. Would he enjoy the concept of over 30 people within this base? Probably not but everyone had the right to see their loved ones after all. “It’s fine, as long as you guys don’t break anything.”

He says softly, his eyes took notice of her expressions when she entered the room to find the crystallized Sora. Yozora couldn’t expect this to be easy for her to bear witness to such a sight, the young commander could only imagine how much life sora had in him on a daily basis to now see him silent as a statue. “I’m still researching on ways to stop him from completely vanishing from our world but turned up with nothing, at the very least if you can tel his friends he’s safe then they’d use their time and energy in helping.”

She listened intently, refraining from interrupting to keep from missing any detail. ‘Fading out of existence? Like when he disappeared from Destiny Islands?’ Yume nodded at his explanation, a simple smile graced her lips. “Yes, well, Sora’s always been good at connecting hearts. If you don’t mind taking me to see him, I’ll do my best to keep any ‘fuss’ to a minimum. We just want confirmation that he’s here.”

“We?” Was it more than just her? He figured Sora probably hung around with the popular crowd because of his intoxicating naivete but just how many people were going to visit Shibuya now? Either way, he could only surmise that the girl might have tracked him down on the count of how near they were to the hideout where he kept the boy so Yozora began walking hoping the girl would follow. They strolled through the city and entered underground from a subway terminal, except the area seemed rather abandoned..yet it was also clean. He must know how this looks but honestly, this was where he kept her friend. “If you have a weapon, feel free to pull it out on me.” After all, this all seemed sketchy and if having something in her grasp would help her feel safer until they’ve arrived? Wel lthen so be it. Finally they’ve arrived at a dead end and as yozora places his hand upon the steel wall and device began reading his palm and the wall parts open to reveal a state of the art hidden lab with the form of a crystallized boy in the center, the boy she had been looking for. “There.”

“Whoa! Hold on!” She steadied herself on his shoulders before bringing down her fist on the crown of his head. “NeEd A LiFt? Not if you’re going to drop me!”

Yume hadn’t even realized Riku’s name had left her lips. Before she could respond she withheld a snort at the description. ‘Spiky hair, annoying smile’ Yep, there weren’t that many people in her book that matched those traits other than Sora. Her gaze downcast to the pavement under her feet. “I’m sorry about the questions, but he’s been missing for a while. I’m not sure what you mean by complicated, but at least I now know my brother is here.”

“Well, when I found him I fought him. Through the fight I noticed his body seemed to be slowly fading out of existence. Through exchanging blows our hearts connected, I knew he needed help so I helped him.” His attitude was stoic about the entire ordeal with Sora considering he was the one that struck first when Sora asked for help. Yozora could not simply trust the boy at his word, nor could he on a whim so he took matters into his own hands. “I knew someone like ‘him’ would have people coming sooner or later, we can see him if you promise not to make a big fuss when you see him.”

“How did yo-” This was a new world, there was no way anyone should know of Riku. Calm down, Yume. He could be talking about a different person, surely there are more Riku in the universe. At the mention of her brother’s name, Yume stopped talking entirely. Her voice almost a whisper, she uttered. “Sora. You’ve met Sora? Do you know where he is? Is he okay? Please, I need to know!”

“You mentioned his name when you ran to me, Sora..he did the same thing, spiky hair, annoying smile right?” He tried to describe him as best as he could but then the girl began spouting so many questions at him that he thought it was best to stay quiet until the noise had ceased. “Now that you’re done, yes he’s with me but it’s complicated.”

Had Yuna not known any better, she would have assumed this stranger was Riku, they were even dressed similarly. But this person’s eyes, hair colors, and voice were entirely different than her friend’s. Blue eyes blinked in realization and an amused smile crossed her face. “Sorry for staring, you look like someone I know. Is it really that obvious that I’m not from here? I probably stick out like a sore thumb then.”

That brought him back in time not by much once again. “Riku..” The name left his lips stoically, it was the same name that Sora had uttered that same day, the day that he rescued him. Or at the very least kept him suspended until he found a way to permanently keep him into this world and not fade from existence. “You know ‘him’ don’t you? Sora.”
