moonjo is still alive (my analysis)
1. the way the last episode was shown to us was .. weird, to say the least. first, we saw jongwoo drops the scalpel and being in shock, then it cuts to moonjo grabbing his uvula, then we cut to his girlfriend witnessing him talking to himself, cut to moonjo lying on the floor with his throat slit, telling him theyâll always be together, then we cut back to jongwoo hallucinating and saying, âit wasnât me.â, then it cuts to moonjo standing in front of jongwoo and telling him heâs the best piece of art he has ever created. why would they cut back and forth in these scenes for no reason, the director wanted us to think about this.
2. moonjo was obviously way stronger than jongwoo. he was literally throwing him around. he evens throws him at a door so hard, it breaks. itâs weird to me, that jongwoo was suddenly strong enough to get moonjo to the ground and kill him. jongwoo had been unconscious before this, thereâs no way he was strong enough after ALL of that.
3. notice how moonjoâs office says âtemporarily closedâ and not âclosedâ? if he was dead .. it would have been closed, not temporarily closed. why would it be temporarily closed if he couldnât open it again, because heâs dead, right?
4. jongwooâs girlfriend saw him hallucinating in the basement. instead of her seeing him kill moonjo, we saw him talking to himself and hallucinating. he was on his own, talking to himself. they showed us this, âmoonjo please let me live. it wasnât me. you need to die.â
5. this one is important. both jongwoo and the police woman saw jongwoo after the events at eden. if jongwoo was hallucinating him, it would make sense, because of everything that had happened between him and moonjo. but the police woman hallucinating doesnât make sense to me. when she was kidnapped and almost murdered, she didnât see moonjo once. she would have hallucinated about the others, not moonjo. besides, we have never seen her hallucinate before.
6. when jongwoo and the police woman were talking outside, he wasnât wearing the bracelet moonjo gave him. just take a good look at his wrists, he wasnât wearing it. when jongwoo was found by the police, he was laying on the floor, exhausted. he wouldnât have taken his bracelet off in that state of mind, exhausted on the floor. back to the point, when he was back in his hospital room, he was wearing it again. remember how i was talking about the police woman seeing moonjo in the elevator? what if moonjo took his bracelet before he left eden and brought him the bracelet after he was done talking to the police woman. between the time of the police woman being on her way to return jongwoo his book (the one that moonjo stole) and jongwoo having his bracelet back, she saw him leave, using the elevator.
7. at the end, there are two shots where the policewoman is shown from afar, theyâre the exact same shots and camera technique that had been used whenever moonjo was stalking someone. so first, she saw him in the elevator .. and then we saw her leave through a stalkerâs pov.
8. i donât believe moonjo would just .. give his hard work up like that. he took a long time making jongwoo his best creation. right when he finished he masterpiece .. he would just .. let himself get killed? it doesnât make sense to me at all.
9. when we saw jongwooâs flashbacks to him killing everyone at eden .. we saw him literally kill everyone. we saw his weapon touching his victims and them dying. we saw their dead bodies. yet .. we never saw him actually stab moonjo, we never saw the scalpel touch him. we also never saw his dead body .. why wouldnât they show that? heâs dead, just like the others, right?
10. my last point is that when jongwoo was laying in that ambulance, he was looking at the entrance of eden. he wasnât surprised when he saw moonjo walk out.he didnât scream, didnât tell others .. it was almost like he was expecting him, expecting him to walk out of there.Â
these are just a few points that i noticed .. there are more points, but i think these 10 points are enough evidence that moonjo is in fact, very much alive. let me know what you think.
