Lo’ak and Neteyam are my downfall

As someone who has been stanning NCT steadily for six years now, I know I will never stan another group again to the same extent. In fact, I'm pretty sure NCT is the last I will ever follow with how much Kpop has changed now.

I started this blog because they've become my muses and I've lived fantasy worlds in my head thanks to them that have kept me sane during my lowest of moments. Writing is my coping mechanism and none of my stories would have taken shape without getting inspiration from the boys.

So Mark leaving is not just a kpop guy choosing to move on for me. It's like losing a part of a steady inspiration that I've had for years. How ironic is it to find out about the news in the middle of me editing a chapter when I decided I wanted to give writing a try again.

To all other creators out there who feel as crushed by this news, please know that it is normal to feel hurt. I can't imagine how to continue writing right now without Mark as a steady part of Dream. At the same time, let's all wish him the best and pray that he succeeds in the next chapter of his creative life. It must not have been an easy decision for him to make and I'm proud of him for choosing a path where he gets to follow his heart.
