Confession: "The older I get the more I truly appreciate and love Kuwabara’s Character."

Confession: "Once, long ago, I was noted by an owner of an Anti-Kuwabara "fan group" on DeviantART and asked if I'd like to join simply based on the fact that my username had "Hiei" in it. I blocked the group, its members and the owner from my page as soon as I read the note. Being a fan of Hiei doesn't mean I hate Kuwabara! I love the goofy, cat loving, carrot top'd, punk-ass idiot just as much as we all know Hiei does deep down."

Confession: "My absolute favorite thing about this show is that the characters actually changed clothes. I'm such a weirdo and it does bother me when even in shows they wear the same thing, but the best part about YYH is how well the clothes fit the characters AND the time. It's so nostalgic!!"

Confession: "When I’m studying really hard for a test in a subject I suck at I always remember how hard Kuwabara studied in the first and third seasons and I feel like if I study like Kuwabara I’ll definitely pass!"

Confession: "I truly wish I had friends like the people in YYH. It saddens me because I just can't find anyone who can make me happy like these characters have. It sounds selfish and dependent that I need someone to make me happy, but I just can't get the motivation to do it myself. But luckily I have these guys and this show to keep me going. Even if it's not real, they've gotten me through real situations."

Confession: "I'm in track and I've bee suffering from a terrible depression lately. It's a drag to do my warm up or even get myself to practice every day knowing I don't have any friends there...but sometimes I'll listen to music when I'm running and Smile Bomb will come up and I like to imagine Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama running alongside me and it just makes my day and helps me get through it all. Honestly, I think it's even made me faster! I honestly couldn't do it without YYH."

Confession: "YYH brings me the most beautiful nostalgic feelings ever. I'm only 16, but whenever I even see an image related to YYH, I love how it makes me feel like I'm 4 and take me back to better times. I wish I could express my love for it better with other anime/manga friends, but I love the personal effect it has on me. I'm still waiting for the chance to share it with someone, but honestly I don't think a single soul would ever understand how I feel when it comes to this series."

Confession: "I used to obsessively watch Yu Yu Hakusho in my early teens and have recently rediscovered my love for it. I could only dream that eventually Hiei and Kurama would end up together in some magical fantasy of mine (and every other fangirl). However it is revealed that they do NOT in fact fall into the romance everyone hoped. I remember being utterly disappointed in the end and even searched tirelessly if the creator intended them to be together. Now, in my early twenties after re-watching the series I find that I can appreciate the Togashi’s choice to keep them as friends because I find their bro-mance a lot more beautiful than their possible romance."

Confession: "While I do ship a lot of pairings in Yu Yu Hakusho, the one that’s really become my otp is Yusuke/Koenma. I know it seems silly because Yusuke is so hetero (Which I will fully admit) but I can’t not love this pairing. I got into it as a JOKE because teen koenma was hot, and then I just fell in love with the idea. Like, Koenma had so much pain and heartache with sensui that he refuses to let himself feel anything for any detective and then bam, Yusuke comes in with his big brown eyes, bubbling personality and just general zest for life and kicking ass Koenma feels that clenching in his heart again. I dunno maybe I’m a sucker for romances where someone was hurt but then they find someone who’s love can fix them."

Confession: "I know a lot of people dislike fillers, but for whatever reason I really wanted them in this show. i wanted to see more of these characters that I fell in love with and I always feel that fillers can do that. I just wanted to get a sense of what they'd be like in real life, because even after all this time they're still a part of my life no matter what."

Confession: "I don't really ... HATE Keiko but I found her to be a bore and her romance with Yusuke seemed so forced. Honestly I feel like they would have been better off as friends, I mean really who says Yusuke has to be with anyone? I mean hell what is he like NINETEEN when the show finishes? DUDE!! Let the guy live his life and find out what he wants from love!"
