I can’t find the post, but it was basically someone incredibly based who said Kuwabara, as someone with a shocking and supreme do, is most attracted to colourful and shocking hairstyles - hence his immediate attraction to Botan and Yukina

They also said, because of Kurama’s knotted, dry ass hair, he probably wouldn’t be so immediately smitten.

But I raise you - Kurama goes to the salon one day and Shizuru dusts all his split ends and slaps on a keratin treatment followed by one of those heated oil masks, and the first time Kuwabara sees him after it’s like: 😳😍🤩

Kuwabara: your hair - when the sun hits it, it glows like fire…

Without a doubt, YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE ENTIRE ANIME! It’ll be good for your soul.

I stumbled upon a picture of Kurama on Pinterest by chance, and it was love (and obsession) at first sight. I didn’t hesitate for a second and watched the entire anime from start to finish in a week. I rewatched it two weeks later, and honestly, it’s a wonderful experience. It’s one of the best anime I’ve ever seen.

Although the four main characters are great and the spotlight is well-balanced, Kurama is the most well-rounded character. I’m not going to spoil anything for you: you have to watch it! ⚘

OH HELL YEAH!! I’m totally going to continue watching Yu Yu Hakusho! I was SOLD the moment I found out it was created by Yoshihiro Togashi (the same genius behind Hunter x Hunter, which I also love!) I’ll do my best to avoid spoilers and watch it blind, heh. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Kurama is such an amazing character, my comfort character AND fictional crush! (I go feral whenever I see him appear or open that damn mouth of his. XD)💜❤️🌹

I started watching YYH subbed (I’m biased toward Megumi Ogata and Nozomu Sasaki as Kurama and Yusuke), but I’ve been hearing great things about the dubbed version, so I plan to rewatch Episode 9 dubbed later :3

(The plot also gave me strong Danny Phantom vibes. No one wonder I got obsessed with it XD)
