When Mark joined teen team, he saw Rex as a close friend but quickly realized what he thought admiration was actually a crush with lots of teasing from William, Eve, and Amber. He spent awhile trying to drop hints as best as he could with his brash personality. As time went on he couldn’t help his jealousy of Eve since Rex clearly had a thing for her, even if they never got together, and eventually got into an argument with him about Rex ogling her and accidentally ended up confessing, cue crowd applauding and getting a medal
