It was late, or at least late for someone to have just walked into the shopping mall. Ever since gaining fame from joining On the Run, going to places at unusual times due to them being less crowded was a basic rule. But in all honesty he had done this back even before then. He liked going to the mall during the last three hours before closing up for the night. One of the reasons being that he didn’t have to put up with too many people and the other because it was when the strangest things seemed to happen, that or trouble, and he loved trouble. He casually took a sip of his drink as he examined those around him, noticing a familiar face. “Well, fancy meeting you here, here I thought I was the only one that came here around this time.”
So yesterday Dwight found half a joint in the parking lot. Which is unfortunate because, as it turns out, Dwight finding drugs is more dangerous than most people using drugs.
❝ Uh-huh. ❞ They replied with a small nod , bobbing their head to the tune - their own voice , of course , which did sound a little weird to listen to , but of course it wasn’t … BAD. I’m prob’ly gonna leave real soon , just wanted to let you know - ❝ Before I say au revoir - au revoir - you prob’ly don’t even know what that means … ❞ They’d sing along , before looking back up and shrugging.❝ I dunno , man - making money is ONE thing , overcharging for something that shouldn’t be so expensive is another. I personally don’t feel that comfy charging forty bucks for a record that I’d probably knock up to about fifteeen at the most. ❞
“I guess so, but then again that’s really up to the customer right? No one’s forcing them to buy the vinyl. It’s more of a want than a need. If all they wanted was to get the music a cd would be cheaper. Heck, I’d just pay a monthly music subscription.” He chuckled to himself and picked up an album, taking a closer look at it and the cover art before placing it back into it’s place. Listening closer he turned to look at them, “That’s you right? And your band? That’s a good album, played it on loop for a week when it came out.”
❝ I know they’re a huge thing in the industry and shit - and also a piece of art and all that crap , ❞ Luke’s fingers are carefully thumbing through a shelf of vinyl records , calloused tips resting on the backs for no more than a few miliseconds , ❝ but they are way too fucking expensive. ❞ They finally decide to pick out an album of their own - Talon of the Hawk , of course , slipping it out of the jacket and placing it on the player with precision. ❝ Almost feel bad for the people who collect these things - like me. A cubby of these has to be at least two hundred dollars , don’t you think ?? ❞
Zach thumbed through a different selection of records beside her, old classic names mixed with those of up and coming artists. He gave a shrug at her comment, not all too interested, “ Some think they sound different, others just like the look of them...but hey to each his own right?” A smirk lifted the corner of his mouth as he found On The Run’s latest album in record form before continuing to aimlessly browse. “I don’t mind the prices, especially if it makes us a profit.”
lorenzo zurzolo. 22. male. he/him. 5sos. | i can’t believe i just saw ZACH MASTERS walking out of cadence records. they’re the LEAD GUITARIST + VOCALS from the POP ROCK group ON THE RUN who have been in the industry for SIX YEARS. the tabloids love to focus on their THORNY nature , but they’re also pretty BEGUILING and they seem to give off a vibe that reminds people of BRUISED KNUCKLES, RIPPED LIPS, WORN JEANS, BAND TEES, HEADPHONES, & CALLUSED FINGERS. | Honey. 24. cst. she/her.

About:
Born and raised in southern California to a family of four, with only one younger sibling, a sister.
His parents could safely be considered middle-class kind of folk, his father being a chef at a restaurant and his mother working part time at the school district as a secretary.
He was the apple of their eye up until his sister was born two years after him, making him share the spotlight.
For many years growing up he did as he was told and tried his best to make his parents happy. This meant joining the baseball team, learning piano and doing his best in school material. His efforts were praised at first but the more time went by the more his parents became engrossed in their work, which allowed time for him to reflect and realize he didn’t really like doing those things.
It was at this stage in his childhood that he began to act out and became more like the man he is today. He started misbehaving in school, quits sports altogether, stopped going to his piano lessons and instead started learning guitar on his own, and received mediocre grades (enough to get him by mostly because he never turned in homework despite knowing all the material - bc the boy is actually intelligent) all this to get his parents attention
As time went on he stopped doing these things for attention and simply did them because he genuinely enjoyed them, feeling like he found himself in his new way of life.
As an added bonus, as if him being a poorly behaved child wasn’t enough for his poor parents, he found a love for fast food..is father being a chef and making nice dinners for them found it frustrating that he wasn’t ever too thrilled when it came to eating his food.
Despite his reckless behavior he always makes a point of telling his little sister to be safe and to get good grades. He also tells her to be the person she wants to be, even if that means going against their parents expectations.
During his last years in high school he worked part time at a small bike shop, which was convenient because they hardly ever had any customers and gave him plenty of leisure time for his music as well as gave him money.
He has been arrested twice. Once for vandalizing public property through form of graffiti and once for trespassing on private property.
Never really considered college back then, doesn't consider it now
He is currently the lead guitarist and vocals for the band On The Run, giving him the dream come true he’s always pictured. He still gets to behave recklessly, as he normally does, since the label believes it keeps up the bands image; and he gets to play music for a living.
He’s snarky, moody, tart and can be a real ladies man without him even realizing or trying too hard. Or as his mother put it, “The boy looks a mess but his charisma sell him well.” He is goofy and unpredictable which has earned him the title of the wildcard of the band among the media and the band’s fans. Careful if you manage to break the surface because the boy can be a real sweetheart, worrying about and protecting those he cares about without caring the risks he puts himself through.
