Speaking on the new “Data Privacy and Protection” PDP Bill to be tabled in Parliament - probabilities of 2 years moratorium similar to GDPR, government having power to declare information as critical, balancing the rights of the person whose data will be processed or used: by giving notice on actual use, consent for use, right to delete or erase the same, use for a particular period, and extra territorial jurisdiction.
