I met this guy on the street. He only spoke Spanish. I tried to communicate with him and asked him what was wrong. He then reached in his bag and pulled out a box of tissues in packets and handed me this note. I tried to tell him I wanted to help him but he didn’t understand me. I told him to follow me and he seemed really nervous but luckily enough there was somebody at a train station that spoke Spanish. She translated everything for me… I said I know the manager of nandos and most of the waiters there are Spanish. He said he was desperate and would do anything even cleaning jobs. I told him to come with me and so he did. I introduced him to the manager and explained the situation. Now nandos have a new member on dish 💐

1.05 am and I'm up writing poetry

1:13am

started from scratch, a blank canvas. as i let time elapse, a brief capsule of my thoughts.

sitting here letting the vibes of my tie dye, of javonte dictate these words,                     expressing a feeling that is unbeknownst to even me

who would think i'd be here, expressing myself to a phantom audience in a state of content, with life, my location, people around me

smoking on the greatest joint that is life expressing the bluntest of feelings inhaling the fumes of peace exhaling the residue of insecurities

the end to my doubts that pulled me back. distorted my vision, blurred ambitions

and now

this is just the beginning.
