Easy, no. But possible. Because this is my territory. Spells, Hocus Pocus, demons. It's meat and drink to me.

A werewolf ran past Zatanna in one direction, then turned and ran by the other direction and back again. They were grunting and growling playfully.
Zatanna watches them sprint past one way… then the other… then back again. “Well, either you’re trying to tell me something important or you’ve discovered the magical joy of having zoomies.”
She folds her arms smiling. “I’m leaning toward zoomies.”
You fight a lot of villains. And you get captured by villains a lot too. How do you always play it cool? If I woke up in some super-crook's hideout, I'd be terrified! But you've always got a quip and plan up your sleeve!
A little secret? I’m usually terrified.
I just learned that panic is loud and solutions are quiet. So I crack a joke then take a breath and start looking for the exit. Besides, if a supervillain spent hours building a death trap for me, it feels rude not to critique the decor.
Did you ever have stage fright? Even in your earliest shows?
Oh absolutely. My first few shows I was terrified.
People see the sparkles, the confidence, the grand flourish- but they don’t see the little girl backstage trying to remember which end of the wand she was supposed to hold.
Thankfully, my father started teaching me how to perform when I was very young. Not just the tricks but the showmanship. How to hold a crowd’s attention, how to recover when something goes wrong, how to keep smiling even when your knees feel like jelly.
Dad always said the audience wants you to succeed. Once I understood that, stepping onto a stage became a lot less scary.
Hiiii do you…. Maybe have a pair of scissors? I… was in my seal form and got caught on something… I can’t get it off…
@lilselkiegirl
“Aww come here. I have something that works better.” With a small flick of her fingers she said. “esaeler!” She pats their head. “There we go. And that’s why we don’t wrestle mysterious ocean objects.”
“Hey, I know. I wasn’t scolding you.” A small smile appears. “Getting stuck and doing something silly aren’t always the same thing. You’re okay now and that’s what matters. I’m just glad to help.”
[With a steady and almost mechanical rhythm, Wonder Woman walks a tightrope connecting the rooftops of two Gotham skyscrapers.]
Diana stares off into the distance with glassy, unfocused eyes and a mostly blank expression that holds the slightest hint of confusion and fascination as she walks back and forth across the tightrope, either indifferent or unaware that her tiara is nowhere in sight.]
[Speakers on both rooftops play a recording of The Thieving Magpie overture on a loop. The Lasso of Truth is lying on one of the rooftops, near one of the speakers.]
@wonderwomangoddessoftruth
“Okay…” Zatanna lands lightly on the rooftop, taking in the missing tiara, the looping music, the abandoned lasso, and Diana’s distant stare. “That’s not ominous at all.” She folds her arms watching Diana cross the wire for another moment. “Diana? Hey princess. Talk to me.”
Zatanna carefully picks up the lasso of truth, her concern growing. “You’re walking a tightrope between Gotham skyscrapers while listening to the same song on repeat. And somehow that’s only the second-weirdest thing I’ve seen this month.”
She steps closer to the wire. She felt worried. “Diana… if this is performance art, I’m going to need an explanation… also your tiara is missing and you’re tight rope walking across Gotham of all places-” she placed her hands on her hips. “You know, most people have a midlife crisis and buy a motorcycle.”

Hi Zatanna,
Just circling back yet again to confirm your availability for the On-Site Supervisor position in Task Force X. Your unique qualifications make you an ideal candidate for the role.
Best,
Amanda
Amanda,
You’ve certainly got persistence. I’ll give you that. So tell me, what’s in it for me? And no, “national security” doesn’t count. That’s usually what’s in it for everyone else. And I don’t want to be yelled at by Rick Flag, I’m going to need something more convincing.
That said, if you’re looking for someone with questionable judgment, a talent for surviving impossible situations and probably a remarkable ability to ignore authority, you might try John Constantine.
[Diana takes a sip of tea. A warm yet curious smile forms as she savors Zatanna's delectable brew.]
What was your mother like, Zatanna?
@wonderwomangoddessoftruth
Zatanna’s smile softens a little at that. She curls both hands around her teacup, eyes drifting toward the steam for a moment before looking back at Diana. “She was… magic before the actual magic, if that makes sense.”
Her voice turns softer. “She used to say real magic wasn’t about power. It was about wonder. Giving people one impossible thing to believe in before they went home.” She glances at Diana with a playful little grin. “And honestly? She would’ve adored you.”
