For those wondering about the fox. Grace has a subtle motif with this animal throughout the movie, but especially this shot where they pack this toy fox with his belongings on the Hail Mary. The pose of it looked a little haunting to me, thus prompting this illustration.

"it's ok to show (x) in fiction as long as the bad guy gets punished!" the bad guy doesn't have to get punished. in fact the bad guy can win altogether. the bad guy can entirely get away with it. hope this helps
and this part might make some people's head explode but: characters can be written to forgive things you personally wouldn't ever forgive. not everything is written as what you'd perceive to be the right choice. not everything is a self-insert & protagonists don't have to be relatable.

damian in current canon is around 14/15. romantic ties the other robins had around that age include (but are not limited to):
dick: had some stuff with betty kane way back in the golden age; also had his romance with kory, though i admittedly can't remember exactly how old he was when that started
jason: had a crush on a girl from school when he was ~12-13ish, which almost led to him revealing his secret identity to impress her. cute! then he died. rip.
tim: pretty famously dated steph starting when he was ~14! other love interests from his teen years included ariana dzerchenko, tamara fox, and greta hayes (who had a crush on him in yj98)
steph: Had Sex And Got Pregnant And Gave Birth To A Baby At Age 15. also famously dated tim
expanding outside of the robins: cass cain had a brief romance arc with conner kent. conner kent and cassie sandsmark dated for a long while. both the teen titans and young justice have featured romance storylines for their teen characters for decades. and i see people sometimes try to justify their aversion to damian dating by being like "well he was a little kid when he was introduced", but like. that is also true of dick and jason. i have never once seen someone claim that it's problematic to ship dick grayson with people because he was introduced as a young kid
14-15 year olds dating and kissing and even having sex is very very much a thing that happens both in the comics and in real actual life, and i truly just do not get where the aversion towards damian specifically having a love life comes from
people have this tendency to believe that fandom discourse exists because people in fandoms are Stupid Nerdy Losers, but in fact fandom discourse exists because anytime you get a group of more than 100 people together, they will start creating interpersonal bullshit. fandom is not special in this regard
There is sports discourse. There is yarn discourse. There is food discourse. There is academic discourse (dear sweet god is there academic discourse). If there are people out there collecting brass buttons specifically from 1921, they are going to have discourse about which buttons are trash and whether Person A cheated person B. To be human is to engage in pointless wankery sometimes.
