This is a fantastic video about last night’s opening of Eclipsed on Broadway :)))
It’s Up
I posted chapter 1 of my newest story. It’s based off of the story of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. I will also weave in some of the “Song of Songs” from the bible. This is not an endorsement of any religion as I am not religious BUT spiritual. Solomon and Sheba just remind me of Richonne. The Song of Songs, omg it’s like they are talking to each other in another time.
What I wrote is out there. Don’t judge me.

Stop judging Rick, it’s a dead zombie’s head, let Rick bash it.

The Walking Dead Cast behind the scenes of The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 12 | Not Tomorrow Yet
Rick looking at the fence behind Michonne like: Reminds of our first date..uh… meeting… *FOCUS GRIMES* *seconds later…* Is it sturdy enough for me to lovingly bang the fuck out of you right now? *HOLD UP* Michonne is unhappy. Something’s wrong. Bae got them on-point instincts. DICK heel boy, for now. ALL OTHER SYSTEMS ON ALERT.
lmao..omg
Richonne Headcanons
- Rick and Michonne making sexy eyes at each other while they sit at the dinner table with the kids. - Naked Rick and Michonne pillow talk that ends in a kiss and another round of sexytime. - Michonne straddling Rick’s lap and kissing him. Carl walks in and tells them to get a room. - Michonne finally telling Rick about her son and Rick telling her that he loves her. - Rick and Michonne making love every night (when things aren’t super crazy). - Judith calling Michonne Mama. - Michonne and Carl finally having that conversation about her relationship with his dad. - Richonne getting married and having a baby (later on). - Rick talking to someone else in the family about how much he loves Michonne. - Richonne just being flirty and touchy in general. I’m trash.

Did you noticed how Rick always (as far as I remember) takes Michonne in his team? Like, everytime he makes a plan and acts on it, he always pair himself up with Michonne. I know it's a writers' choice to always put them together, but I like to think Rick sees Michonne as his partner, so obviously he'll always fight the battles with her by his side. Idk, I thought about this yesterday when he was yet again paired with her.
Why are you doing this to me, Anon? LOL You are exactly right!
From a storytelling POV, having the writers place them together as a pair when fighting makes sense, but there’s more to it than that.
From a character POV, I think Rick realised as early as ‘Clear’ that he and Michonne made a really good team. What started off as not trusting her NOT to kill Merle evolved into seeing her capabilities and enjoying her company.
Michonne is the only one who spent a long period of time out on her own. She can handle herself; she knows how to survive on her own.
In saying that, Michonne is also really great working with others in their team. Regardless of which team member she was paired in, that team would still be capable and efficient. She is also a protector, much like Rick is.
As for Rick, he is beyond capable and efficient; he is able to protect those who are less capable and still be a force to be reckoned with.
In terms of what is practical, pairing Rick and Michonne in a team where skill and ability differs in the overall group does not maximise efficiency in the group. I would have Michonne leading one part of the group and Rick in the other; they are natural leaders and skilled warriors.
Watching them sweep through Negan’s compound was really awesome; TF is amazingly skilled and combat ready. It makes sense that Rick take point because of his law enforcement training and he is their leader. Michonne has always worked well flanking the group because she is quick and proficient in dispatching threats. They both know what their strengths are and would have worked out their plan before executing it.
The fact that Richonne were paired together a lot of the time, for me, is a callback to what happened in 6x09 with the herd. Michonne was so afraid for Rick’s life when he went into that herd of walkers; she ran to him as quickly as possible and stayed by his side even when the others from TF joined them.
Now, I believe, them being paired together is by their choice, not what is necessarily best for the group; it is what gives them peace of mind enough not to be distracted. They need to be near one another to ensure the other is safe. This is not about them being weaker because they are a couple, or not thinking logically, but because of the panic we saw in Michonne when she was not there to help Rick. How can they focus if they’re looking over their shoulder to make sure the other is safe?
Yes, they trust one another to survive the battles that they face, but they may not trust themselves to forgive if something were to happen to the other and they weren’t there to do all that they could.
If Rick was hurt and Michonne was not there, she would never forgive herself, and the same goes for Rick with her. It’s just easier for them to take some responsibility for the safety of the person they love by being constantly at each others side. This is who they are essentially. As with this post Rick and Michonne actively protecting each other is how they demonstrate their love.
Also, from a cinematic POV, they look pretty awesome fighting side-by-side :)
Sorry this ended up being longer than I planned.
Thanks!
okay maybe this is just me but like when you’re deep inside of a good book but forced to put it down for a bit does the outside world seem weird and soft and like you find yourself thinking in the author’s voice and even after you’re done with the book there’s like this “book hangover” where you’re still in the writer’s world and seeing the characters and hearing the narrator and stuff feels… different ….
msamberpriley He didn’t smize in my picture, he gave me a genuine smile for once lol love you Lijah Poo@oneelijahkelley 😘
msamberpriley I heard the rain and knew heels were not in the forecast for today’s outfit. Fun playsuit from ASOS, my favorite ankle boots that I’ve had so long I have no idea where I bought them, and this warm coat I got from Forever 21 to complete this look 🙌🏾 casual chic I guess is what they call it. I call it lazy chic lol
If these two aren’t literally the cutest thing you’ve ever seen than your lying 😍😍😍
When do you think Rick will tell Michonne that he loves her? Honestly I'll turn into a bawling mess when it happens. I hope it happens.
Hi there!
*sighs* this is a tough question to answer mainly because much about Richonne’s relationship is unspoken. Rick is very much a man of action and not so much of words. Bear with me while I explain my thinking, please.
If we looked back at Rick’s relationship with Lori, we know that she always wanted him to talk about what he was feeling, but he was a ‘closed-mouth sonofabitch’. That was where their relationship was failing. She expected Rick to talk, and he wanted to act. He saw being a hardworking father who provided for his family as a way to show he loved them. Lori wanted something different from him.
Now to Rick and Michonne, much of their attraction to each other lies in the the fact that Rick did not need to constantly speak about what was on his mind or in his heart because Michonne just knew. Their communication was non-verbal, and they usually knew when something was amiss with the other. Lori always questioned Rick, and even though she told him she was with him, her own actions were oft times contradictory. Michonne constantly understood Rick and his motivations and was always there to offer support. She is mainly vocal when in disagreement with Rick. That’s what I love about Michonne, when she is down for the plan, she does what needs to be done; if she disagrees, she’ll tell Rick outright. No contradictions.
They have this uncanny knowing and understanding of one another. Rick never needed to say how much he cares for Michonne (or anyone really) because he showed it through his actions. All he has ever wanted to do was be a good leader to his people and a man worthy of their respect.
So, I think it’s going to be a HUGE DEAL when he finally tells Michonne he loves her. After all this time of not needing to vocalise their thoughts and feelings, I think now that they have realised that they are in love, it will be difficult for them NOT to say they love each other. And personally, I think it’s going to be Michonne who says it first!
I am going to die when that happens and I think we’re going to see it soon! I think we’re going to get another intimate scene towards the end of 6B and one of them is going to say it then.
Thanks!
