Ezekiel Dalton was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April Fools Day in 1989 and everyday since then heâs found his own life to be some kind of cruel joke. Before he was even born his mother decided to give him up for adoption and so when the day came, a nice little family came to the hospital and took him name, Jacob and Eloise Dalton. What could have been a perfect cookie cutter life in a suburb for Ezekiel, quickly spiraled out of control when the Dalton family decided they werenât as ready for a baby as they thought they were and Ezekiel was put into foster care until they could find him a new home. Over the next 18 years, Ezekiel went through 13 different foster homes, some were okay and others were dark places to live. No one could keep him under control or deal with the outbursts he would have, unable to handle his own emotions. He attended 10 different schools in the greater Atlanta area and never seemed to do well in his education.
By the time Zeke was a teenager, he was in his 9th foster home and had started drinking alcohol, smoking weed, and cutting class more days than he went. It didnât take long for him to get busted and end up in juvenile hall after stealing a car from his neighbor and crashing it while trying to evade the police. Zeke eventually was let out of juvenile hall when he was 16 but the day he turned 18 and aged out of the system, Zeke was on his own. He spent the next two years living in his car, the only thing he had to his name. During his early twenties he was arrested a few times for various misdemeanors but never spent more than a few months in jail at a time. Until he was 27 and was finally arrested for a more serious crime, identify theft and credit card fraud.
Zeke spent two years in the Fulton County Jail, giving him plenty of time to think about his choices and try to get his act together. Upon his release, Zekeâs parole officer told him that he could get him a job working at a farm in a little town a few hours away that was owned by a family member. Zeke took the job and agreed that heâd stay out of trouble and complete his parole there under the watchful eye of the Madison police department.
Despite all of his hardships, Zeke has a fairly good outlook on life most days. His  time in jail taught him to think of all the possibilities and opportunities he might have if he got his act together. Zeke uses humor to cover up his issues and heâll deflect any time possible. He is openly bisexual and very much interested in exploring whatever Madison has to offer him. He might be a little rough around the edges but thereâs a softness within and if anyone dared to look for it they might be surprised how willing Zeke is to let someone into his life.
