It's a Spring Affair!!!

Just delivered order of crochet napkin rings. My client requested these beautiful spring colors. I can't wait to see a picture of her dinner table!

Loving my circuit machine and my polka dots! I made this box in just 10 minutes using my circuit machine. I am designing different packaging for my products and it’s sure nice to have a machine do the cutting for you!

I am so excited! I have finally received my order of Fine 100% Linen Yarn from Europe! I can't wait to start transforming these linen threads into beautiful crochet flowers! I will post pictures as soon as possible.

My new collection of handmade hair accessories. 

As always I keep creating new crafts when time allows it. I haven't made or posted anything this past semester because I went back to college. Now that I am on winter break, I will do my best to make as many items as possible before classes start back again. In the meantime, I hope you like my crochet flower hair pins!

KNIT KNIT AWAY!!! WINTER IS COMING!!!!!

The only thing I love about winter beside Christmas is the fashion! I love knit sweaters and chunky knit scarves!!! I started to knit some and have several projects going on simultaneously. Unfortunately, I rarely have time to spend doing crafts these days.  However, I try to knit or crochet 30 minutes before going to bed whenever I can. I find it very relaxing after a very busy day! 

All the pictures represent my work in progress, except for the two that show yarns. These two are future projects! I still don't know what to do with them. I am thinking maybe an infinity scarf for the cream wool and baskets for the shinny grey!

I was finally able to make the website work on all browsers after a very stressful afternoon! I published my website earlier in the day but it was only opening on Safari, Ipads and some phones. It should now be able to open up on all browsers!!! I put 2 links to make sure that at least one of them works until I figure out how to permanently just use farandey.com since that's my business name!

I'm so glad the holiday season is keeping me busy!!! This week end, I will be participating in a holiday bazaar at my son's school. Hope all will go well. I've been making items to sell there and also working on custom orders, which I love!!! I enjoy spending time hunting for fabric and matching color swatches!!!

I took a small break from posting on the blog to focus on my selling event! Today is the big day and I am really excited to share my work with my friends and their friends! I am also thrilled that starting next week I will be able to focus on the next phase and be ready for the holiday season's demands!

INFINITY SCARVES, MY FAVORITES!

I absolutely love scarves and always wear one no matter what season it is!!

I use heavy materials for the winter and for warmer weather I use sheer, light fabrics. This year I decided to also knit one whenever time allows it. We will see how it goes. I will post a picture as soon as I finish one!

Ideal for Christmas Decoration

Storage baskets ideal for Christmas decoration. I found the red and white striped fabric in a small store nearby. The wrong side of the fabric has an interesting pattern that can be used as well!!! I might do pillows with that later on or use it as lining in other projects!

Clamshell Purses

I stayed very busy last week making beautiful clutch bags and storage accessories. It’s always rewarding to see the finished projects. Some take very long to make but I cherish every moment of the process! This week I will be making more products and taking pictures for my brand new website! I cannot wait to finish and publish it!!

Design project this week: clutch bags

I made this clutch bag couple of weeks ago. This week, I will be making more with fabulous fabrics that I handpicked myself!

Design Project: Storage Buckets for Bea

Here they are! All cute and done! I felt that something important was missing and I went back to the store to get pink fabric. It’s a little girl’s room after all and I also wanted to repeat the pink that’s on the fabric.

I Had so much fun sewing these! You could for sure say that they were made with love and close attention to detail. Bea came home today and loved them!!

I am also getting very creative with the rest of the fabric! I am planning on making small pillows and framing the rest of the fabric that I will cut and shape into flowers or leaves!!! I can’t wait to get there!
