I think I am coming to terms with the fact that I am still wayyyy more heartbroken than I’d like to admit over this fucker and how much he disappointed me with his selfishness and laziness when I loved him and fought so hard for us to be together. Especially because neither of us had ever experienced this kind of love before or have experienced it since. What a waste, it is so heartbreaking whenever I think about it. I’m not gonna be sad though. I am choosing to be motivated by the anger instead. And I have to remember that I want to be with someone who I not only love, but who shows me that I can feel safe to rely on them, and who I am proud to have as a partner in life
We’re sooooo back 🗽
Went to the function last night, didn’t see my ex, ended up making out with a Pakistani guy who was probably 10 years older than me (which was kind of random but it’s ok because he was kind and sweet), my friends and I managed to get so drunk that my best friend who normally doesn’t ever dance at all got up and went nuts on stage during the dj set at 1:30 am, danced to at least 6 songs by Andy and a ton of other insanely good Persian music, reconnected with an old acquaintance who offered me a place to stay next time I’m in Paris, had the time of my life, healed
