RothkoChaqueJour, the blog I mentioned once as being close to mine was blocked the same day I mentioned it. They were indignant.
I saw a post from them today and went to investigate. Even after I have blocked them they have written open letters to me often, they mention me nearly every day and make response posts to my posts.
They talk about "Us" (there is no us) and respond or post amendments reacting to my posts. They call us "Colleagues". Their blog is 100% more about me than it is about them or Mark Rothko for that matter.
They make notes like "we have 9 years to catch up" referring to how long I have been doing this (That's AI by the way, it's 11 years.)
In short this blog that has "Nothing to do with me" is about me, every fucking day. It's creepy to respond every day to someone who blocked you as if you were colleagues, not to mention this person I have a suspicion might be someone I helped with something in the past (not sure about this), and if so it's creepier. That person was French also and asked naive questions. Then they went through my entire tumblr asking if every person that was standing in front of a Rothko painting was me. Weird. When the blog emerged on tumblr, the person disappeared from social media.
This is just a narcissistic need for attention. They can post Rothko artwork like every other blog does and not involve me, but without me, they have no identity it seems. After this puffery about how I'm gatekeeping, they make essentially a reaction blog? He does these usually the same day! They do steal my scans meaning to or not and they made weird comparisons and wild assertions that make no sense, but then they don't know a lot about Mark Rothko, they just have a book but many elementary things escape them. Other blogs about Rothko avoid things they don't understand but this stalker, wants to make a mark.
He used to claim he didn't steal scans but has stolen many from me, four in the last ten days some from my instagram. These are my scans he cannot possibly have, but it's not surprising because he's also mimicking my posts from there and here. i guess he wants even more attention now.
My message to them since they are obviously going to read this even though they are blocked, is that i will never engage, answer or discuss or correct their misapprehensions.
Leave me out of this intellectual fantasy you have and fuck off, don't reply to me, don't involve me, don't take posts from me. Don't answer this post, rather do your blog, if you're so pure, and shut up about me.
I could go on, but why bother? This is unhinged, not to mention useless if you're interested in the artist.
