The ‘Extended Edition’ of my Moebius Time. 

‘Starwatcher Finn and Marceline Hurlant’ by Z. E Pangborn. Inspired by Moebius, Adventure Time, and Brandon Graham (and technically a few others). 

I’d say the regular version (seen here) is prolly my Director’s Cut, but I think this one is fun too. This is closer to my original vision which combines ALL three of the Moebius drawing ‘challenges’ that I’ve seen on the net. 

The first two were put forth by @royalboiler in which various people did redraws of Starwatcher (here) and the Metal Hurlant #1 cover (here). The third was the #moebiustime hashtag started by @writerbryce .

To those who don't follow my Instagram (here), I've been working on an Echo Locations board game for about 10 months. The rules and mechanics are finally (pretty much) set, and the game is rad. It's now time to finish the art. These are the very first concepts for the five different species in the game.

I'm drawing again. It feels real sweet. The extended hiatus was do to figuring out the final mechanics for the upcoming 'Echo Locations' board game (Jonny and I developed a full on legit game, btw). Now I just have to draw the same amount of art I have in the last 5 years in the next 5 months. (at Volution Gallery)
