Honey: Not on yer life. We gotta see how this all holds. But lock it down, encrypt it, whatever you do to make it hard for people like you to get to ;)
Zero: Bless. Already been there, done that.
Zero: You enthusiastic 'bout this hold?

Zero: In light of the recent truce, you want me to destroy all I got on 'em?
I would like to thank the old pudding in my fridge for putting me into a food poisoning coma.Â

Revel: Think the zoning papers for B&P oughta have an old gas line on 'em.
Revel: No idea what else coulda caused an explosion like that.
Zero: Wouldn't know. I was with Luna all night.

There are materials that Zero has collected over the years, even before her move to Fairburn. Theyâre materials that nobody will miss. Scraps and pieces of information on what to do with these materials have brought Zero to this point. Her hands tremble slightly as she pairs wires with wires, plastic with plastic. Thereâs the possibility that this could go wrong. She wonât be affected by it, of course. Sheâs hardly worried about a few scrapes here and there. Itâs the thought of harming others unlike herself, unlike the foxes who have come to stake claim on a land they have no business being on.Â
Tongue in cheek, Zeroâs careful with the way she handles what Honeyâs asked her to construct. Itâs a pipe bomb. Something small, something virtually untraceable with the way pieces scatter. However, isnât being traced what theyâre trying to do? Still, for the authorities, it will be a miracle if they trace this back to her careful hands, to the way gloves tenderly push what sheâs taken days to construct into a section of the glass covered casing. It was easy getting in. The door was locked, but barely. The day Honey asked her to build the bomb, Zero took to hacking into B&Pâs security system, planting the same video feed. The likelihood of being i.dâd is at a minimum, and she hopes sheâs been careful enough. She wasnât keen on breaking the law when it came to terms like these, but she was asked to do something by her Queen, and so she would follow through.Â
Thereâs a mobile detonator, like seen in the movies. Itâs something Zeroâs decided to go with to make her feel as though sheâs in one. Thereâs a certain thrill that burrows its way into her chest, one that sheâs unsure of how to get rid of, of how to tell them that no, she didnât like blowing up Bishop & Pawn.Â
She thinks that if this doesnât tell them, then nothing will. Thereâs no way theyâll think this is an accident, especially not with the kidnapping of one of theirs-- of Zeroâs coworker. A sheen of sweat drips down Zeroâs forehead, sliding along the bridge of her nose. In a hurry, Zero wipes the back of her hand across and retreats. If thereâs anybody in the building, Zeroâs unaware.Â
It goes up in flames, glass popping, metal screeching as Zero disappears into back parking lots, avoiding being seen (as she does best).Â

The smell of fire and fox hung heavily in the air, the fragrance leading some of the muscles in Cashâs body to tense. Northern or Southern? Definitely Southern. The familiar scent lingered around Cashâs nose and she eased back into the grass, a little relieved it was Zero rather than some of the others. Cash was appreciative of Zeroâs personality, found her refreshing at times. As someone who stayed in the shadows when most people talked, Cash found herself observing people and whatever she observed of Zero, she enjoyed.Â
Giving the other âfox a lazy smile, Cash shrugged a little, the grass scraping at her bare shoulders. âLord knows Iâm a fan of angels. Might as while try and make a few while Iâm here.â Cash had her mouth open even as Zero sat down with a truthful answer, âYouâre good, Ze. Stay as long as you want.â The sun hovered above them but it wasnât too humid out, the rays only providing a soft warmth on Cashâs sweaty skin. She watched the other âfox under hooded eyes as she shifted around, eyeing her she rubbed her shoulders. âThe water? Itâs pretty damn refreshing. Was in there earlier if you feel like going in.â
She turned her head in the direction of the lake, momentarily considering going back into the water. She wasnât much of a public pool person but she enjoyed just floating in the water, completely content to feel the water slosh over her. She pushed herself up into a sitting position, rolling her shoulders back with a crack. Leaning back on her hands, she glanced at Zero. âDoinâ a little bit of hiking today? Surprised to see you and out and about here without your usual partner in crime.âÂ
Even though Zero had already made the decision to make temporary company with Cash, sheâs appreciative that Cash is telling her to stay as long as she likes. âDonât say that. I might be here all day.â Mimicking Cash in the way that sheâs laying back, Zero props herself up onto her elbows and stretches her legs out, pointing her sandal covered toes up towards the sun.Â
âI was gonna go fishing, but sittinâ under the sun is kinda callinâ to me right about now.â Closing her eyes, Zero points her face up and towards the sun. She can feel its rays begin to beat down on her cheeks, as well as the skin of her bare shoulders. Out of all of the others in the gang, Zero feels that while the Jezebels are her family, sheâll always have one in Kentucky. Hell, her parents had to force her out of the house and bribe her with a trailer that now looks nothing like what it used to.Â
Opening one eye, Zero squints over at Cash whoâs now sitting up. âYâknow, she gets busy âan I had nothinâ to do today. No Archive shift, so I decided to come on out âan catch some dinner.. maybe share it with Dixie âan Luna.â She wouldâve preferred for Luna to accompany her to the lake, but if she had, would she be here sitting with Cash? âAnymore plans for the day, or are ya gonna keep on with your catnap?âÂ
Luna chuckles and removes the hand from the other foxes shoulder. âSorry âbout that.â She frowns and looks around, joining Zero in scoping out the situation. âI donât know how I feel about people just abandoning cars.â She pursed her lips in thought. âI donât see any indication that itâs broken down. Think we should call the cops?â
âI dunno how I didnât feel you,â Zero laughs timidly. The suggestion to call the cops makes Zero turn fully towards her fellow foxfire, a slight frown curving her lips downwards, ânot sure... maybe?â It could be nothing. Somebody couldâve ran out of gas, but being wary had always suited the Jezebels better than brushing small things off. âSure, lets call âem.âÂ

Revel: I fuckin hate you
[five minutes later]
Revel: Bluejacked? That.
Revel: Anyway, I wanna watch all her shit. Can you hook it up to a computer or somethin like that?
Zero: Don't lie.
Zero: Yes.
Zero: I can do that.
Got windows, you know. And a screened in porch
Well damn, yâgot me there. Ainât nothinâ a bit of sweet tea canât change mâmind on.Â
Text || Revel --> Zero
Revel: Got that bird thing workin' on that phone, that woman Jess.
Revel: Bluejay? Bluebird? Bluebelle?
Revel: Whatever the fuck. I can see her shit now.
Zero: Not Bluejay, or bluebird, or bluebelle....
Zero: C'mon, Rev... Think a little harder, I know you can get it. I have faith that y'can get technology down.
If the bugs are gettinâ too bad out there you know you can come inside, right?Â
Oh, but the stars are far too beautiful for that.Â
Luna had been on her way back from the Outlaw when she caught sight of Zero. It was obvious that she didnât hear her so she quietly made her way closer, trying to catch up to her. When she was close enough she placed a hand on the other foxes shoulder. âWhatcha lookinâ at âGaret?â She peered over her shoulder with a frown. Normally people werenât stupid enough to leave a window open. Seems like whoever it was mightâve already gotten robbed.
The presence of something not quite human joins Zero on the street, but still, when Luna touches her shoulder, she jumps slightly. Turning around, she shakes her head. âNot sure. This was just sittinâ here.â Looking around, she squints past the moving cars to see if anybody is beelining for their direction. âDonât reckon theyâre cominâ back, the engine is cool,â Zero explains, pressing the palm of her hand atop the hood.
Just an FYI for people to remember, thereâs no smoking at the Outlaw. Iâd really hate to have to start kicking some of yâall out for something so stupid. So please use the brains I assume you all have in those skulls of yours, alright?Â
Yâdâve thought the damn signs wouldâve been enough of a mention.
Mal walked back around the corner holding a bag of groceries, on his way home from the range. he narrowed his eyes at the girl kicking rocking in the vicinity of his car, walking more briskly to catch up to her, âEy, watch where youâre kicking shit. youâre not skipping rocks over a fucking lake, youâre about to dent my paint.â
She hears footsteps approaching, so itâs no surprise to her at the sudden appearance of a new face. However, the words that leave his mouth cause a dent between Zeroâs eyebrows. âTrust me, I know my aim, âan it wasnât at your car.â Glancing at the vehicle again, she turns towards Malcolm, âdunno how long you been here, but I donât reckonâ you wanna keep your windows down without supervision.âÂ
