whether or not the US succeeds depends on how able to defend their sovereignty the people's communes and the fusion of civil and military power in venezuela is
if the bolivarian government has succeeded in organizing these elements, no number of kidnapped leaders will change that
What do you think that marks an actual communist position rather than a left liberal one when it comes to the matter of American imperialism in the Levantine? I'm honestly astounded that people are suddenly angry at regular leftists for pointing out about the imperialist's role in propping up HST in Syria after months of having correct opinions on Palestine.
Unfortunately a lot of communists in or from the region also just fall in line with nationalist or apologetic takes, which isn’t too surprising given how politically recuperated whatever is left of official communism is in the Levantine. I think the approach would have to think beyond just national frameworks, especially because these national states have only been politically separate like this within living memory and their internal political dynamics overlap heavily. In this context I agree with how Mustapha Khayati thought about it. You’ve got bourgeois military-bureaucratic states of various shades on the one hand, and Israeli imperial expansionism on the other. These two tend to work together more or less closely to establish a compromise situation. The current arrangement of this does not at all favor the Cold War remnants like the Syrian Arab Republic, so it was only a matter of time, but this is not really a victory for regional independence. That could only take place under social revolutionary conditions. Otherwise you just get the same corruption, the same privatization to contractors and foreign capitalists, but under slightly different conditions with the arrangement of government. And in this case the HTS seems like they’re just going to strip whatever is left of the social state in Syria to sell it off and open up a corridor for Western and Israeli capital. I guarantee they’re going to start filling the same Assad-era prisons within a few months. Because the problem is not just the arrangement of the government, but the entire interstate system of the region where even the republics are more or less run by a governing caste and politics are confined to their territorial management concerns
At this point, I know you have all seen hundreds of fundraisers, but I beg you not to look away from this one. This one is very dear to my heart, because it is for my most precious brother, Nasser Akar Mohammad (@nasserakar4).
On January 23, 2023, Nasser's father, Mohammad, was martyred by the occupation forces. Ten children lost a father. A woman lost her husband. A man whom they all loved and depended on, gone from this world in a single cruel moment, for no reason other than he dared to live. Their home and family store, turned to rubble. An entire family, displaced with nowhere to go among the fighting of their former home.
Since then, Nasser, his mother, and his siblings have been living in a refugee camp among the wreckage of their home city. Can you imagine it? I can't. But we don't have to- Nasser and his family are living through it.
Nasser has shown and told me firsthand: The conditions of the camps are abysmal, and without third-party aid, they're only getting worse. Nasser and his family are without a reliable means of keeping warm. THEY NEED DONATIONS!- even small ones!- now, more than ever with winter quickly approaching.
Please, please, please donate and share this post as much as you can. I want so badly to help my brother and his family. I want to see Nasser healthy, happy and thriving. I want to see him able to live freely, safe from the threat of such death and despair. Surely he deserves that, don't you think?

Hello, my friend. I hope this message finds you well. 🙏
Please read this as if i were a member of your family. Maybe your sister, your daughter or your friend. As if my family who is going through difficult circumstances is your family.
I'm Ola, a graduate student from the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University . I'm a dedicated and passionate student, striving to become a good researcher and teacher.
Unexpectedly, my life took a drastic turn transforming me from a passionate student into a person struggling for survival. 🥺
My family is in a very difficult situation due to the harsh conditions we have been living in for more than a year. After the prices went up so crazy, I created this campaign to help me and my family meet our basic needs for food, drink, and other essentials and it will help us to rebuild our lives.
All I am asking for is your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in changing the situation we are in. Please help us by donating to our campaign and by reblogging the pinned post on my page. Also if you can write a post about my campaign we all would be very grateful.♥️
I know for sure that you can't help all families that want your help but at least you can help those who come across your life.
I am the eldest daughter who tries to help herself, her siblings and her parents but of course I will not be able to do it alone. Will you help me with that?! The decision is yours 🥺
I would appreciate it if you could follow me to stay updated, as I will always need your help. 💔
what I wish people would understand about fundraising for gaza is that while everyone is desperate and I would never say not to fundraise for or donate to individual families-- I currently fundraise to support multiple friends' families-- the overwhelming narrative I see on Tumblr that the best and most ethical thing you can do is send money to individuals and there is no option for anything else is so so incredibly damaging and inadvertently lends support to the marginalization and distrust of any remaining communal social infrastructure. the sameer project, which you should donate to, talks about this in a recent video they put out. the situation in gaza is unimaginable and everyone is in need of a huge level of support, and yet this fundraising discourse by well-meaning people in the west that donating money to individuals is the only moral way reproduces societal divides wherein resources are directed to people who speak English, who have relationships with people outside of gaza, and who have internet access while hundreds of thousands are left behind.
there ARE non-ngo locally based grassroots initiatives working to meet those needs however they can, and your small donation goes a lot further with them because they are able to buy food/water/supplies in bulk at a reduced price and reach more people with less money. again I'm not saying people shouldn't fundraise for individuals because these initiatives are so limited and many people cannot access them -- but as an example, the group I fundraise with is currently serving people fleeing north gaza who are starving and have nothing, and when we fundraise enough to do cash aid distribution there's so much need that our partners can only distribute 100-200 per large family. and then I go online and see people who have absolutely no understanding of this context at all exclusively working towards raising tens of thousands for just a few people when evacuations haven't been possible for months. it's good to do whatever you can but please consider how this narrative being reproduced among westerners trying to help that there are no other options has the potential to damage groups working towards equity and wider reach however is still possible
Trump’s victory will reinforce the American anti-Palestinian approach, and the Democratic Party’s loss is a natural result of its direct involvement in the zionist war of genocide.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s victory in the U.S. elections does not, in any way, signify a real change in the hostile approach that successive American administrations have pursued against our Palestinian people and their just cause. There is no fundamental difference between the Republican and Democratic parties; both have contributed to supporting the zionist entity and participated in the war of genocide against our people, whether through policies or unlimited military and diplomatic support.
Our people have never placed their hopes on any candidate from either the Democratic or Republican parties, as we have never witnessed any positive change in U.S. administration policies, which have consistently aligned fully with the zionist entity, providing it with military funding and all forms of political, legal, and diplomatic protection.
The Democratic Party’s loss is a logical result of its complicity with the zionist entity; it rejected calls from supporters of the Palestinian people, the Palestinian community, and Arab and Muslim communities in the United States to pressure for an end to the war of genocide in Gaza, continuing its support for aggression against our people. Today, the Democrats are paying the price for ignoring these demands at the ballot box.
We in the Popular Front do not expect any positive development from a Donald Trump administration; rather, we anticipate an escalation in hostile policies against our people, fully biased in favor of the zionist entity.
We call on supporters of the Palestinian people, as well as movements, organizations, and groups that stand with our cause in the United States, to intensify pressure on the new U.S. administration to end its support for the zionist entity.
We see in the popular and student movements that stand in solidarity with Gaza, along with the emergence of small, free voices and parties, a glimmer of hope that could contribute to even a slight change in the U.S. stance on our cause.
Hello dears I hope you are all well please help me!!!
I am Ahmed Halas from the besieged North Gaza, I have created my campaign to help my family and save them from the suffering they are living. Our lives, hopes and ambitions have been destroyed, our livelihood has been destroyed, we have lost dear friends and many relatives, our house has been completely destroyed, we live in a plastic tent in the middle of an UNRWA school and we suffer from the heat of the sun which causes headaches, migraines, body allergies and many diseases. There is no food, water, medicine or basic life requirements and the prices are terribly high, we cannot afford to buy anything.
In the meantime, this fundraising campaign has been started so that people can donate so that we can regain momentum in case the unfortunate circumstances cannot be fixed. Ahmed Halas and his family have already registered and are likely to be called to leave soon. This money is for their evacuation. Let's aim to evacuate them all together!!!

Ahmed's message:
Hello, I am Ahmed from the Gaza Strip, I am still alive after ten months of war. This is my fifth war too. But this war is unlike any other. I am trying to raise money for me and my family, as we are determined to leave to safety while this disaster continues. We want to leave the Gaza Strip towards Egypt through the Rafah crossing and Hala Company.
This was a very difficult decision for me, but this is my fate and the fate of my family. I feel ashamed to ask you to donate enough to save me and my family of 20, most of whom are young children, by raising enough money to reach safety. "Hala Company details are at the bottom of the article." Please participate, even if it is a small part. Donate any small amount, share my photos, share your story, anything that makes a difference. I have complete hope in you and your generosity.
Father Fathi suffers from heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, and son Mahmoud suffers from back and cartilage pain, which is why he does not have a medical mattress due to sleeping on the floor, which makes him feel severe pain.
Oh my God, what happened to us, I lost my memories and dreams that I have dreamed of for a long time, my house where I lived my childhood, nothing remained inside it, it was a pile of fire, and I lost my source of livelihood and my baby clothes store was completely destroyed, which led to the accumulation of debts that I was committed to from merchants that I obtained a few days before the current wave of war.
Note: Ahmed will try, when the circumstances are complete and I collect a sufficient amount and I am able to reunite the entire family here in Gaza, by moving my family to a safe place and regaining some comfort or trying to go to Egypt, knowing that the cost per person now is $ 5,000 for an adult and $ 2,500 for a child. The price may fluctuate. Please help us by donating even the simplest things or by participating in our campaign, and I will be grateful to you

I am Riham from Gaza. All my dreams have been shattered here in Gaza. I studied Public Relations and Media and graduated just one day before the war broke out, but now I’ve lost my home, my dreams, and my university, which has been completely destroyed.💔
I lost my father two months ago💔💔, and today I am living amidst this devastation and poverty, trying to survive in a merciless reality. I have nothing left but hope that my voice reaches those who can help me.
I ask for your support, participation, and sharing of my story, as any donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Please don’t ignore my plea; the situation is urgent and critical.
I urge you to spread my story and donate. Any help can save a life 🙏🙏
