I realized I can take advantage of my Tumblr (now that I have one) to gush a bit about MomoMita and their first meeting (thank you Exedra), so let's go.
Fun fact: It's because of that first meeting that Momoko only ever calls Mitama Adjuster/Coordinator (chouseiya).

So Mitama says, but... if you consider how it actually went.
Mitama, who planned to hit up some Magical Girl in a Labyrinth to give her sales pitch (fair plan), found Momoko struggling against a Witch - and, naturally, went for her original plan (taking advantage of Momoko's peril).
After a quick explanation, Momoko accepts, obviously. Not like she has a choice... or any reason to be suspicious of such a kind offer.
And it works out, of course. But then...
Momoko accepts, partially since it's true that Mitama did save her life, and because killing Witches is a Magical Girl's job anyway.
Mitama's first impression of Momoko doesn't exactly make her look good, all things considered - proving Momoko right, that Mitama really just saw her as an easy mark originally.
(And, due to this nature of their first meeting, and Mitama prioritizing her adjustment business over anything else - like, being a decent human being and helping out a fellow Magical Girl just becase - Momoko pretty much figured "If you care about that so damn much, I'll only refer to you as Adjuster" - and it stuck. lol)
Mitama, please just tell Momoko that for once without being a mischievous tease about it, I'm begging you
Ironically enough...
While she totally scammed Momoko into things on their first meeting, she's now handing out first adjustments for free.
