Windows 10 likely to bring smart dialing for phones
The smart dial feature is likely to come back on Windows 10 for phones.
This was apparently revealed during a presentation in Microsoft Win HEC conference in which the feature was shown on a presentation slide. Now user can directly search for contacts – as soon as he/she enter a telephone number or Meta details of a contact – without leaving the dialer page. In addition, Microsoft may also add support for Yellow Pages. It will be a very welcome addition to see Smart Dialing come to Windows 10 for phones. Standard & Poor's has reportedly agreed to pay a huge sum of $1 billion for settling the US charges that the ratings agency has intentionally defrauded investors before the housing bust. The accord is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations and is most likely getting ready to be announced by the final stage of first quarter. GE finances rival Rolls-Royce powered A350
The commercial debut of Airbus A350 jet with Qatar Airways recently had marked a milestone for its engine supplier Rolls-Royce but the main news that missed was that the financing was done by its arch-rival General Electric. Although it is powered by the latest generation of Rolls-Royce brand engines, the first among a new series of jets on that the company has based its civil business is reportedly now owned by GE's aircraft leasing arm GECAS. This rare decision for investing in rival technology also highlights the complexities of going ahead in a highly competitive aviation industry. Source: Finance News
