I am currently back in my PJ's, in bed, sippin' on throat remedies, and editing our Clip of the Week for our class' news letter. We spent all week during our 'Printing' time learning about MLK and how we as a class also have so many dreams for our world's future and what we can do NOW about it. Only 2/26 kiddo's knew who Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was when I asked on Monday. So it's great to know they will be going into 3rd grade knowing who this man was and what he fought for with love and verbal-strength. I have a substitute now and are making "I have a dream that..." footprints. While making an idea chart yesterday I heard dreams such as: "that everyone feels safe at home," "that no one is ever homeless," and "that everyone has at least one friend."

Last year's NYE caption to our picture perfectly stated "Couldn't imagine spending the last night of 2014 with anyone else," so let's just change 14' with 15'* — oh and our amazingly supportive boyfriends were somewhere behind us...I guess they're okay too. 🙃
