"One Foot"
3K- easy, I'm surprised how much I actually enjoy running, it's almost therapeutic. I always run past one of the rougher estates in my town and see people who maybe have a bit more body weight than is healthy going across for their fish and chip take away tea as I go running past them and it actually makes me feel so healthy! God, how horrible am I... So, two more nights of 3K then I'll move it up again! I also got a really great letter off Teenage cancer trust in support and about running vests and training programmes and thanking me- it keeps me going you know
3K!
Finally! Done my first 3K run! 20K in a half marathon, this is a realistic goal- I do believe I can do this My legs feel like jelly now so I'm just going to stretch and collapse for a little bit

Application
Sending off my application form to the teenage cancer trust tomorrow so that I get a running vest for competing in the Redcar half marathon Suddenly, it's all becoming very real, the run is on September 28th which seems ages away, but when I put things into perspective, it's not very long- ahhhh!
WOW!
You know running is going well when instead of feeling tired- you feel alive
"One Step Beyond"
2.2K I ran today 20K in a half marathon One step after anther I am getting closer to this goal- Running a half marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust, they deserve this!
Music Music Music
Inspirational song of the day- Explosions; Ellie Goulding The best time of the day to go for a run is definitely at night, I just run and look at the stars and they seem to speak to me, like an audience cheering me on further and willing to do well. As a spiritual person, the stars are beautiful, so many of them but they each have an impact in the nights sky line- they're just like us really, shining away but only a few people appreciate the light they exude. Today was my last 1 mile run and I did it the fastest yet, I'm going to try going a bit further tomorrow to see how it goes- thanks for the support, I also read an article today about how close we are to finding a cure for cancer- and if that isn't enough motivation to keep going, then I don't know what is?! Cancer, were gonna kick your arse!
To whoever said Hard Work doesn't pay off- I beg to differ
Started with a new running app today by Nike- the best one by far! You even get a motivational speech off Paula Radcliffe at the end- thanks Paula!
A year ago yesterday, my cousin was ready to turn 15 the next day, he hadn't been feeling well to be honest, and we all just assumed tonsillitis, but nothing could have prepared us for the news of him getting diagnosed with Leukaemia- And here we are, one year on, Joe is looking so strong, happy and is celebrating his 16th birthday today! He is strong and he fought every step of the way. My cousin is a fighter, a warrior, a soldier in his own battle and I could be prouder of him. Well done Joe, you battled, and you won, so fuck you cancer, were coming to get you one step at a time!
I would post up my timing for today's run but I forgot to press the start button on the app *slow claps* Well done Zoe... But it did go a lot easier- and I feel that by Monday, I'm going to try and go for my 2 miles and see how it goes
Fashion of Running
If there's one thing I've learnt from starting running If you look fashionable, pretty and stylish whilst your running- then you're not trying hard enough
