i hear you talk about androxus x jenos a lot, so do you have any headcanons?

I just had to go back and check which ones i’ve already posted but i was also half asleep while doing that so i might repeat some by accident.

I like to think that Jenos has heightened senses, including a stronger ability to sense a person’s “state”, in both a physical and mental/emotional way. Because of this, Jenos has become highly attuned to Androxus and can sense even the slightest change in him, and always makes sure to take care of him when possible, as he knows Androxus has a hard time being “open” about things. He’s naturally a conservative person.

While Androxus can be open about his feelings towards Jenos and thanks him for what he does normally, he tends to show his feelings in smaller, less “open” ways, such as quietly offering to take Jenos to recharge with the stars when he is too exhausted to do so himself, or to inquire about the constellations and their meanings in order to allow Jenos to ramble about what he so dearly enjoys.

Androxus is one of the very few people Jenos will allow to touch his hair. In fact, he loves it when Andro runs his hands through his hair/plays with it. (he won’t openly admit this though, the prideful bastard.)

While Jenos cannot heal Androxus’s curse, he at least attempts to soothe the pain brought on by it. He thinks that perhaps with more effort or research, he might be able to break/heal the curse. Androxus has more or less accepted his “fate” by now, but he appreciates Jenos’s efforts nonetheless. He doesn’t feel he suffers as much now, with the aid (and company) that Jenos provides.

(This one ties in with one of my personal headcanons about Jenos, i.e. that he has star-like freckles that form constellations on his face, and will dim or brighten in accordance to how he feels) While Jenos is actually embarrassed about his freckles (which are hidden when he wears his mask), Androxus finds them quite mesmerizing. He finds himself creating constellations of his own, absentmindedly softly tracing them out when he’s with Jenos and he has his mask off.
