【 Story Summary 】
After the destruction of Tartarus, the escapees laid waste to cities and forced civilians to evacuate.
For Shigaraki's body to be completed, the PLF evaded the heroes' search and hid in the shadows. However, a certain villain organization, seeking to expand their power, used this opening to attack and capture members of the PLF.
In order to rescue their captured allies, Shigaraki and the PLF members charged forward to take down this rival organization!

So. Tomura Shigaraki is associated very heavily and very explicitly with hands, right? Decay is touch-based, he used to wear fucking embalmed hands, and his eldritch horror arc featured yet more hands and fingers.
Tomura Shigaraki is also, canonically, a victim of extreme grooming—AFO planned out his entire life, forced a destructive quirk upon him, taught him hatred, and raised him with the express purpose of eventually body-jacking him.
There is only one thing that I associate with the kind of hand imagery all over his character. It’s not just a nod to his quirk. I think AFO’s abuse was sexual in nature, as well.
This would also track with AFO’s obsession with Yoichi Shigaraki—which was certainly emotional incest, even if we never get confirmation of it being physical.
To be honest, I’m surprised I haven’t seen this interpretation more often. Yes, it’s disturbing, but it is deeply in-line with the disturbing things that we do directly see.
TLDR: the hands aren’t just gross indicators of villainy. they’re a sign of trauma. they’ve always been a sign of trauma, i cannot repeat that enough

Thoughts about them,,
Thinking about Grian and Jim think when Jimmy first got his canary wings, he freaked out and immediately went to Grian panicking. I think Grian was also frightened the hell out cause where did they come from ????????? Grian gave Jimmy some pointers about how to take care of them and maybe taught him how to fly, even if he couldn't use them in the life series. I think that they have sleepover, preening each others wings and gossiping about their server mates from empires, the life series, hermitcraft and other smps..

I just know Jin is the Always Worried About Her, omg, tell me ALL about this girl you like brother to Himiko, and Dabi is the nonchalant, we don't hang out & you piss me off but I'll kill someone for you brother, and Tomura is fully the What The Hell, Sure @ anything Himiko says/wants + lots of quality time brother.
I picture Tomura being so compliant with everything Himiko wants to do... Like, ok kid, let's read romance manga out loud together while you smear lipstick on my face idec.
She can probably play fight with Jin and Dabi safely and bicker with them for fun. I know Dabi has undone her hair buns more than once. If they get bitten in the process, that's their fault for messing with the wrong one! Tomura doesn't have that kind of brother built. He probably gets kind of nervous and jittery and doesn't enjoy it/doesn't KNOW how to enjoy it. He's just not very good at play fighting and it makes him tense.
Himiko is really affectionate and sweet and I imagine Dabi rejecting that, while Jin basks in it wholeheartedly. He's pretty affectionate himself for a guy that was lonely for some time; like, we can see how touchy he is even with Dabi. She feels safest/happiest being shown affection from Jin. I think Tomura was probably freaked tf out the first time she hugged him because he hasn't been hugged since he was FIVE. He kind of awkwardly lets it happen.
I'm just having so many Himiko thoughts.... My cutieful daughter.
When it comes to Mag (bc she obviously loved her), I think they were able to talk on a deeper level about stuff that mattered. Her, Jin and Mag, probably, because Horikoshi once described her relationship with Jin where he rambles and she listens to him and nods and smiles politely. I think to reign him in and also shed some light on Himiko's worries and trauma, Magne was a very crucial part of their relationship. She probably balanced things out a little bit and made Himiko open up some more.
Tomura opening the door for her and stuff because he’s used to being polite to his sister and going still when she hugs him and being scared of decaying her it’s so cute 😿
Also they play little romance games together because I think she’d like them and Itd be something they could actually do together without Tomura growing too irritated and being like parallel play or something
