i was on bluesky hoping the anti contact zoo community might be more active there (it is not) and i went to one of the main zoo tags and i. the first post i see is a woman sucking off what i think was a dog it was cropped weirdly and i feel so utterly disgusting for seeing it and bejng aroused and i cant unsee it i instantly reported it but it doesnt change what i saw and what i felt i am so sick

I'm around and always checking on things! Not sure how to define okay, but I'm not dying.

Every time I go to return to online things, stuff keeps happening! I'll be back sometime, I promise, but this past month or so I've: gotten very sick, had to travel and went completely offline, got entirely wiped out from traveling (I'm physically disabled!) and had to take a whole week off just to rest, had to deal with government things, and now I'm due for a surgery in a few days. I'm also working on finally moving out of my abusive home.

I will be back and posting, I read everything sent to this account, but I don't have as much time as I want to go through and answer things as I want. You guys deserve actual attention when it's called for.

Does watching slaughterhouse footage count as contact? Like, when they send in an investigative reporter with a hidden camera. I don’t… I don’t touch myself to them or anything. That would be deeply irreverent to the actual lives that were filmed. I just like them. The videos comfort me.

It’s not like I support the industries where they get this footage from. I try not to, anyway. I haven’t eaten a burger in almost a decade. I use flaxseed powder instead of eggs. I can go on, but you get the idea. I just… like the videos. Violence and all.

I’m worried I lose my anti-c status. Since they are real animals. And treating their suffering as entertainment or as a “comfort film” is kind of messed up.

Should I stop?

I'm not entirely sure, this seems like a fairly complex ethical conundrum. There's a lot of discourse around animal killing (for food) in every community, including this one. I still feel like it's animal exploitation, but I also have extremely mixed feelings on this.

I'd like if others could chime in because I feel like one other perspective isn't going to be the most helpful.

My father has made so many comments about having babies with one of our cats.. saying they have sex, and they’d have fucked up little man-cat babies. And he makes so many zoo jokes about it and it’s starting to fucking affect me and he keeps getting me high and then making those jokes then the thought keeps playing on my head over and over again and I hate myself for saying this because I’m a horrible person to humans sexually with my attraction already and I love animals so much especially cats but sometimes they look up and me and make a cute little whining noise and wrap their tail around my leg and I hit myself in the head over and over and over again because I’ve gotten fucking boners from it before. I hate myself for this. I can’t do this. The next and I think one of the only paraphiles related things is being a bloody pedophile. I don’t know what to do anymore. Is this a pipeline

my friends trust me enough to send me pictures of their pets and i cant tell them how much that means to me bcs its kind of an awkward and weird thing to feel so trusted about but like it really does mean a whole lot that they do this... really drives home that i guess they dont see me as a monster waiting to happen and thats just. genuinely so refreshing im gonna go cry

Losing attraction can happen even in fully typical relationship setups, its not your fault at all. You can't always control when you are or are not attracted to someone or something, you just have to work with it.

I've been feeling bad about myself for awhile now because of my zoophilia and other paraphilias, I've been wondering when my friends who don't know will find out one way or the other and if they'll still accept me even though I haven't hurt anything. I hate having to hide my true identity from most friends and even family. I just want to be myself without risk of them all suddenly hating me for being attracted to animals, even though I mean zero harm. Even though I'm lucky enough to have some who support me, I still love the others, I don't want to lose them and it's been getting to my head. Especially since the community I'm in doesn't like proshippers, let alone paraphiles, and it's a fairly small one. I can only ignore their hate for so long.

I hope they give you room and accept you, but being in a community like that can be exhausting. I'm in a lot of unfriendly communities towards ANYTHING "problematic" (even kink!) and it can be very draining to see or interact with others while thinking "if they actually knew anything about me, they would hate me or worse."

I hope you can find community that you know is safe and accepting, even if its hard to find. I really do wish you luck!

Honestly, I don't even remember when I started fantasizing about animals (especially dogs). I know that last year it wasn't even an option for me; at least not that I had considered, but overnight, just like that, it happened. There was no assimilation process, no denial, no negativity of any kind. It has never bothered or embarrassed me. I don't care about it. It's something normal, I am okay with it, like I am with the rest of my paraphilias.

Sometimes I imagine living alone and having a big dog as a pet. Maybe a Labrador, or a Great Dane... I want to believe that I wouldn't be capable of actually doing anything to them, but a part of me still thinks about it. "What if they are in heat? What if I slowly train them so that they are the ones fucking me? What if..." Etc etc etc. Maybe I shouldn't have pets, hah...

🫂thoughts like that can be really tough to deal with, especially if they don't feel scary. but that doesn't mean you'll ever act on them. if you feel like owning a pet is unsafe you don't have to, but you are always in control.

as a kid I read something somewhere online saying it's not zoophilic to sexualise monsters because they're "not real animals" so I started making my totally not zooey little creature that was like a dog dragon looking thing with very long insect like legs and a robotic dick. it was great. anyway, I pretended to care about that creature for reasons outside of making it have sex with humans, and I wrote a whole world about it and never showed anyone because I knew what this was actually about and I was very ashamed of being a zoo.

It's very tempting to go off anon just to make a point to younger me, but it won't really matter here. I think what matters more is that I don't hate myself nearly as much for it, and that I am able to tell my (zooey and non zooey) friends about it, though the shame is still there sometimes and that's okay.

its been maybe a month ago now, but im still not over it. my then-partner of two fucking years threw me under the bus, not when i first tried to explain my paraphilia, but only when his Friends starting giving him shit for it. and the worst part? he's literally more into animals of all kind, more sexually, than i am

I'm so sorry to hear, that's so so shitty and awful of him. I really hope you can find space away from them and around people who actually will try for you.

I also hope he realizes he's been shitty and apologizes to you at some point, even if that doesn't fix anything. 🫂
