I go by Ztudiolaire everywhere, but Z works just fine as a nickname.

I'm a 25 year old self-taught artist by night, and also that by day, sometimes (oooh ahhhh). This blog and all my other art socials are my guilty pleasure. I post most frequently on Tiktok, my Patreon, and Instagram, but I differentiate in the format of things I post there as opposed to here. Want more yapping? You're in the right spot. Want more content? Instagram or tiktok is the way to go.

I'm a big sucker for monster/creature design art, sci-fi art, and fantasy art. As of right now I'm locked in on Baldur's Gate 3 and more recently, The Legend of Drizzt. You can expect a little mix of those things from me, but BG3 and LOD will be most frequent. I post a lot of my Dark Urge BG3 tiefling, Orryx. This blog serves mostly as a place for me to drop all of his lore.

hello z, i am a big fan of your work and you inspire me so so much. i just wanted to tell you that if i manage to get out of my artblock and deal with my really bad mental and physical health rn i really wanted more than anything to draw orryx with my lovely barbarian tav! he's also a fellow white-haired vampire romancer, but hey... i think astarion has two hands for a reason. big manly tits are never too much...

I'm beyond happy to know that you're inspired by me, that means more to me than I ever truly know how to say. I can only hope to keep doing that, as we BOTH keep posting art. And that being said, seeing Orryx drawn with anyone else's characters is like a shot of pure concentrated adrenaline straight to my heart. I absolutely love that shit. I adooooore how you do expressions! Do you have a favorite Astarion piece at all to showcase an expression? You have to have drawn him the most, easily.

What gave it away? Haha, I don't know if I could pick a favorite. There's been a lot that I've loved working on. He's my favorite one to stretch expressions like play-dough on.

Your most recent post has got me wondering; what’s your canon voice for Orryx?

Tumblr only lets me upload one video at a time, but in my mind its a clash between Darin De Paul as Revenant/Dr Samuel Hayden, with the smallest bit of an irish twang to it.

Colm McGuinness is another name that comes to mind as inspiration with the low notes he can hit.

Eshra was not surprised about Astarion trying to bite her, nor was she mad at him for drinking her dry. She did not try to stop him to begin with

Eshra has quite... Peculiar definitions of intimacy. Being nigh indestructible (plus the screwed upbringing), her affections are very intence. The fact that Astarion chose her for this was perceived as an act of trust. As in "he was desperate and believed I would not harm him for it". And it spiked her curiosity and attraction towards him.
