Hold onto daddy- Tuukka Rask
It was a day off for the Bruins and your husband wanted to take your two year old daughter to the rink to teach her on how to skate. During the drive to TD Garden, Tuukka kept on teasing the both of you because when you started to date him, you, yourself were afraid to skate. âShe definitely takes after you.â Tuukka said chuckling a little as he pulled into the parking lot of TD Garden. âOh Hush!â You said trying to get mad at him, but a soft chuckle escaped your lips as you knew it was true.
âMommy, do I have to skate?â You could hear how nervous your daughter was when she was being laced up.  Tuukka turned to face you and gave you a âDonât you dare say noâ face. You quickly rolled your eyes so your daughter wouldnât see it. âYes, Emily, if mommy had to learn then you have to learn.âFine.â She said crossing her arms around her chest and huff. âOh she definitely takes after her mother.â Tuukka muttered under his breath as he was finally done with getting her skates ready.
This was it, you were scared that your daughter was going to get hurt, but you knew that your husband would protect her no matter what. âMommy, if I go skating, can we go get ice cream?â You chuckled at her question. Your daughter definitely had the terrible twos but there were moments when her sweet side came out. âOf course you can, now go skate with daddy.â Tuukka took her hand softly and took her on the ice.
Sure, there were time when Emily did fall, but Tuukka was always there to catch her and help her up when she did actually fall, âYou are doing great hunny!â You called from the bench. âOh I take it back, she definitely takes it after her father.â Tuuka called out laughing as he sees you rolls your eyes at him.
