anna had been rather quiet during the whole meeting, dutifully scribbling away whilst biting her lip to refrain from making sarcastic comments about the king’s guests, even if they weren’t cherished ones. just because he liked, did not mean she could permit herself such things.
which is why it was rather a relief when it all ended, though not quite satisfactory for the other party. still words did not leave her mouth until a few minutes after the guests had left. “ .... so i shall just pen them down as the papal idiots, shall i? or the papal fools? ”
