After Sochi Olympics ended, there was “Hanyu Fever” in Japan. A japanese tv show was doing investigation and almost everyone said that “Yuzuru looks like he jumps out of Manga”. Then that show’s reporter went to a manga/anime specialist. The mangaka answered the question , 1. Yuzuru’s body proportion is perfect. You can divide his body into 8 parts with the same height as his head. And that is the best style of male character in manga or anime. 2. His face is small and he has long slender neck. No wonder,then ^_^

As it’s been reported during the past couple of days, Hanyu hasn’t put on his skates since Worlds in Boston and will be spending two months off the ice to recover from a left mid-foot ligament injury. He will be returning on the ice in  June and then will have new programs choreographed.

Hopefully he will be making a full recovery (ligament injuries are nasty) and we’ll see some more great skating in the next couple of seasons!

For now, a couple more pictures up above as I go thought what I’ve photographed in Barcelona!

Yuzu visited a place in Iwate today (disaster-affected area) and answered some questions from the kids.   Boy:  Who are you getting married to? Yuzu:  I am NOT getting married yet!!!
