This photo is from Mars rover but you can see the rainbow reflection in the upper left so it should be pretty close to true color.
The sun shines in many frequency ranges, but the most prevalent color appears to be ~500nm. I have seen ~490nm and ~510nm specifically indicated. The ideas is that, this color is not mostly the color of the sun; it is not 51% or greater that color - but that this color is the wavelength or diameter of more photons emitted than other colors. If there was a bar chart of each color emitted, graphing quantity, this would be slightly more quantity. This color is not most of the color - it would be the wavelength or diameter that, by count, is most common.
(For info about photons as electrons and positrons as the 'diameter' see this post, the details of this idea are in development. The ~490nm is wavelength, and is part of physics models we teach about today. I am not an expert here but apparently the number is related to "Wien's Displacement" concept. There is two more posts, link 1 and link 2, about the new physics model with the positron in the orbitals, wherein 'wavelength' is related to but not exactly 'diameter', but ~490nm is established research today as-is)
Our eyesight is centered on that color. The red, green and blue cones each have a specific diameter (wavelength), green is in the middle, frequency-wise and diameter-wise. People who are color blind are seeing the middle, green cone, but not the red and blue. Hypothetically this is because of an infection in the sphenoid sinus, which is easy to fix, there a post about that here. People get infected there because of nuclear proliferation causing radiated water to get stuck in the upper atmosphere, increasing pressure on children's sinus, which swells and forces the ostia shut, causing sinusitis in the sphenoid in particular, where a bulging infection pinching the optic chiasm and sometimes pituitary gland never drains because air pressure is forcing it shut, like when you try to open your car door on a windy (aka air pressure) day. If it gets held shut long enough nasal polyps build up and line the inside of the sinus aka sinusitis.
Today, the sky is blue because radiated water is stuck in the upper atmosphere. This means heat is stored in the upper atmosphere, and we have lack of heat in places, and dehydration in deserts.
The radiated water is missing electrons, and has a less-negative charge, which repels the positive charge of the Earth we call "gravity" - it can even repel the ground and get attached to the electromagnetic field. The electrons were stripped from the atmosphere as it passed near to radioactive material, or was destroyed for low-efficiency energy production. The extra neutrons in radioactive material repel the electrons, first breaking covalent bonds into a vapor and then radiating that vapor (nitrogen as well? soil problems?).
How many millions of liters per day of water do we radiate, and why? How do the people doing it propose we fix this?
Our orbitals normally have a net negative charge, and are attracted to the positive charge of the Earth. Nuclear material has negative core and positive orbitals, but the core is strongly negative. The radiated water has a normal core (no extra neutrons) but a positive orbital, so it floats very high and is pulled toward the incoming photons (negative charge) from the Sun and reflected from the Moon. It is always trying to rebalance its charge imbalance with photons (or free electrons, when available). As a result, we have 2 huge oceans of radiated water above us, sometimes mixing, and increasing air pressure, and absorbing/lensing the energy from the Sun.
Since the neutrons are usually in the Earth and/or continents - "gravity" itself is out of balance, and the net charge of the core of the Earth is more positive than equilibrium, leading to higher air pressure, and the continents being pulled into the ocean (aka sea level rise) and many other issues.
The blue green color of algae and lichen is almost exactly the color of the Sun. Plants and things have nitrogen from soil so it is similar. I wonder if leaves turning yellow is the leaf changing shape as it hydrates/dries and the shape of the structure designed to capture the ~500nm photon changes to the diameter of yellow, at 550nm? Do flowers catch frequency ranges we can't see?!
The blue of the radiated water in the sky is because - The molecules are attracting more negative charge in the form of photons, instead of individual electrons, to rebalance the radiation damage. The net charge of a photon is negative, but less negative than an electron alone, so it takes more photons to balance the molecule, more than it can hold. This means that the photons fill up each molecules like a cup, and when they overflow, the diameter of the photon (aka color) is related to the space available for energy storage in that type of molecule. When the photons overflow the radiated cloud of water, they are a size that appears blue to us.
The abuse of the worlds atmosphere is causing colorblindness, dementia, sea level rise, 'gravity' issues and higher air pressure, climate imbalance and more. This radiated water condition is just one symptom of nuclear proliferation. ( <- remember these ideas include a few concepts that are still in review, see links provided above. Radiated water is there, but the health issues are conceptual until tested. If we misunderstand 2 things, is the 3rd thing, resulting from them, misunderstood as well... probably. Do we have much time, to wait before we really need to understand these tertiary symptoms?!)
When we add energy to metal, it glows bright red, when we add energy to radiated water vapor, it glows ~ultraviolet, and we just see the edge of it as light blue. If we are colorblind, the blue and red cone are turned off (due to optic nerve pinched by infected sphenoid sinus) but the center cone, green, centered on the Sun, stays on. For someone colorblind, the radiated sky appears black or is missing information as we process photons, if I understand correctly. For colorblind people, the information is either mechanically obstructed (photons' negative charge have too much resistance getting to brain's positive charge because of physical obstruction) or because neutrons from nuclear material are stuck to the optic nerve, (negative charge of neutrons scrambling the negative charge from the red, green, blue cones' photons so the brain cannot count them correctly). In that case we may see some ultraviolet range as well, including the electromagnetic field, because the rods, red cones, and green cones may be inhibited but the blue may be turned on more than normal.
If/when we fix the radiated water, the sky might look a lot like the image above. In that image there was probably less atmosphere than normal so it is hard to be certain.
Are there plants that are designed to live here with green light and cannot live because of the light imbalance? Could those plants hold more water and might typically keep the climate from getting so far out of balance? Is that further impacting climate/temperature imbalance and dehydration of deserts, and freeze drying of tundra grasslands etc? How is that impacting bioavailability of energy in healthy foods, and soils?
