i love to think that city elves have their own interpretation of elven pantheon. even if it's half-forgotten, often misinterpreted or mixed with andrastianism they STILL remember and worship their gods however their vision ofter clash with the dalish

for example, where, after easy birth of a healthy child the dalish would pray to syliase because she's a hearth keeper, the city elves would thank mythal because she is much better remembered and is literally called "all-MOTHER" so it's reasonable to praise her

where city elves view elgar'nan as a more distant Maker-like figure who ignores you and sometimes guides you in dark times, the dalish elgar'nan is basically zeus. he's more down to earth, prone to anger and vengeance, he is rage and a heart that keeps the world going
