"Starting the petals. I keep each color thread in a labeled bag and stitch one color at a time. I started with the lightest color #3713. I kept track of what colors I used (and they kept changing throughout the process) on the pattern on the left. On the left was also my gum piece that I had to put on hold until the Chihiro piece was finished. ——-

"Starting to get a feel for the lighting on the flowers. I used the pilot frixon pen as a guide to mark where the shadows fall on each petal. ——-
