Ly's ish state 2.0-2.5 Flux and Saps (polarity duo) analyst/character study

(and might as well be a fic with how emotional charge and assumption base on Flux's apology and know that he would take Saps into Conspiracy if they met before the war-)

How the betrayal fucked up BOTH of polarity duo?

All this come down to someone in Turnsap server of why the betrayal fucked up BOTH Saps and Flux, and how even if I made stuff for Turnsap, it all will lead back to polarity duo in some shape and form.

Separata side (at first)

Saps case is more so of him being wandering in desert for so long alone, found Flux as his first friend (then Jophiel). He is very attach to thing. Flux give him the honors of to even preen him make him attach to the guy even more. When things got too much in Theria, he jumped. Leaving Flux and Jophiel deal with all the mess he made. He could just become an admin when he die, ish offer to him. But Saps refuse his admin status so he can go back to start over again with his friends.

First thing he revive back is him face to face either Flux first, now with new crew and even bigger ambitions, something he don’t have it in him at this point but want to support. He know how Flux works. He knew his best friend that Jophiel concern of the attachment at times. So when the guys come and help him build the house, he feel happy, a community but not at the same time. He made friend with Flux’s crew everything was going fine.

Heck when Flux got demoted, he reached out right the way. Stay, stay away from all the politics. They could survive this, since they are so isolated to other nation. They could just life a peaceful life for once! He know Flux will do something, he will help but rn he got his friend with him.

Then Jophiel, this second friend he made, might as well see her as his sister, died

Then the betrayal

He was in denial for whole day, he know his best friend, but he can’t wrap around the amount of trust he have. But he know in the end of the day, he know where Flux came from, he know his paranoia. He so angry, dare say heartbroken. the feeling that he might not mean anything to him. Like wtf? But none of that matter right now, he need to survive the manhunt or he will not live long to actually think about it. Now he’s the one full of paranoid, then this guy to prove that he will not kill him. That when some of the emotion hit him like a truck, nightmares.

Oh nightmares...

Things got too much and he actually about to jump off again. Like how he did last time, but this time he didn’t bc it was drive by anger and spite. He will live through to see Flux again, to finally get his anger out. But he also miss him. They were inseparable before all of this, now Flux is not there and it fucked up with his mind.

He angry, but he also very fucking miss his best friend. He hate that he miss Flux. But he come to realize that him die is a necessity for Flux to survive, get the plan work for him. He have some down time when he not got hunted thanks to Covenant and Westhelm to process things. And he finally might understand why it have to happen. He just hope he know Flux enough that he still can read that Flux don’t really hate him.

We will come back to Saps, bc Flux is a whole different can of worms. Too blind by his paranoia and ego, but also Guilt

Fluixon side, from beginning to his ends

Imagine this.

You are a prince of a kingdom you hate, hate how limited everything is. You see your father stay under the bunker for so long you not even sure you remember his face, then imagine the citizens?

Is the emperor of snow even real in their eyes?

That’s a mistake

He don't want to be known and associate with this, he not even the one who going to get the throne anyway. Ender already build up to be the next king from beginning, Cynikka might be more fitting of Aculon name than him with how much she respect this name even though Solev, who become admin, place her with them. More of an Aculon, good.

So he left and stay at the desert with his other father, also fucking hate where he is too. Stupid laws and tyrant. This is just his home but hotter. Don’t want to suddenly leave, he need a way out. Then he met Saps, who say what if they can just made a new place AWAY from Sultanate, he want out. So does others that they made Saps the leader against his will-

So he follow Saps, to get out of this damn place. They made this new place, and Saps is weirdly a strange guy that he very like to talk to. They grew closer and all, he trust him enough to help him with preening his back feathers, and no they will not talk about the meaning of it. He trust Saps And then he jumped and left him and Jophiel with an assassination plan they don’t even know. Jophiel is stressed and frustrated because all the diplomacy end up with her. She understands why Saps jumped, all that stress alone but right now she have a war to prevent in the desert. Now he’s the president. Now what? Got to manage everything in place, Saps left a mess to him, he glad that the plan work and Storminghill die, he never like the guy when he living with Crow anyway.

He didn’t mad about what left behind. He hate that he being left alone

He survive till the end, someone the people move out the desert with him, make new friends. Now he back in the second in command position again. And in the new place that is plentiful with resources. This is not like the snow and the desert. This is paradise, and no one will take it from him and his new people. Then Saps got revived by the deity himself.

Part of him still angry, but he so glad he have his best friend back again. Drag him to go down at the mines. Still come to see him when he not doing his duty. He understand why Saps want to separate himself out of politics, especially what happen last time. So he don’t mind. Now the stupid propaganda come up, Death to Island 2. Some of his people might survive Aculon War but the possibility of an outsider attacking our place, we going to end up like Aculon again but worse with these incompetent people in charge. He will do better than this. And he will not make them attack his home unlike what his father did with Aculon.

He just have to not do the same shit like his father did, he will improve it.

Talk to his citizens, make them know you exist

Now he have people who would like to follow him, unlike his father in bunker 24/7. Speak his mind, stay in the game.

Take what good idea Elanuelo have, and improve it

The bunker can be a good idea if you use it sparingly, and not in random castle, under the sea bunker is harder to find with ocean between the islands. If shit gone to hell, he still have here to stay safe.

instead make a martyr, make a perfect scapegoat

It was a stupid idea of Elanuelo to killed Turkey, who become beloved by the nations. He become a perfect martyr for war. The least he could do is to keep him in check. He will not have anyone become a martyr for his own plan, what he need is a scapegoat. Who can a Wazzok of this new place. And he have one now, someone who is not part of any nation and have a place where all the leaders can be at the same place. It’s perfect.

But it’s Saps.

His best friend.

But this is for survival.

Just one life that could safe thousands

He will not survive when island 1 attack and kill us all anyway. If Saps die like he planned at the trial, he will not go through more suffer.

This is a mercy.

Better than by the enemies. He will be the name that union the whole island. That would be something good for everyone even its will pains him. Betray one to safe thousands…it will be worth it.

But the problem is Saps got away, survive.

Last time he wanted him to stays alive, he died. Now he need him dead, for the necessity of everything, he lived. Ok it’s fine, he just need to die. Or the shit at the trial would happen to again. And all the plan go to shit.

If Saps gonna die, he will not be die by a senseless death, at least there will have a value to his death. His importance about this death. Unlike his senseless jump off the tower. A bounty. Easy. Bounty will give a meaning. Have things to do, he can’t be fully worry about Saps right now or else he will spiral. The bright side of having a scapegoat is that his plan is working. It was not because of stupid bridge, not blind kindness, but it because of me. . .

…ok, he just got cool trim from island 1.. To take a lot of diamond he give it that. But he also as trust about this, it not helping that Legacy want to marry some guy in the Covenant

Well he have to double the price. If somehow this go longer, it will not be good for any of them. If Saps lost his mind and make Covenant attack HIM in retaliation? he would not blame him They ready came to kill the Mafia that settle near Harbor Bloom. They can easily attack us now.

Great, just great, of course Commonwealth fuck up with the plan and keep Westhelm wanted criminal, now Saps is in. Are they too stupid to see what Schpood try to do? But if Saps end up did die by Westhelm, his name certainly in the “Schpood Fai” Assassination Hall of Shame”. That trust from that emperor can’t keep as long, his paranoia will end up kill Saps anyway.

So you mean, he not just having Westhelm, he also still have Covenant support EVEN AFTER HE RAN AWAY??

This is getting ridiculous. At this point this going to be like Aculon AND HE STILL RIGHT. Saps going to gather people against him, and Island 1 going to get Aculon treatment but now this time he at the end of the stick. We all going to die, and it because of Saps.

Maybe that’s one thing he didn’t have from Elanuelo, he’s not as organized like him. Good, he don’t want to be like him anyway. He did everything right at the beginning, it’s why he alive this long. He can’t back out now. He’s in too deep. He will survive this at least long enough to see Saps again

They can go to bunker now, but we going ran out of food eventually, there’s only Thomas and him alive now. We not going to survive and rot in the bunker Thomas ask him long ago why we don’t just go to just kill Saps, no bounty needed. If he have to be honest, he don’t think that time he can face Saps. Because he know he will do something stupid. Saps know his way to get to him. He know how to read him as much he can read Saps. Heck he might even let Saps join the Conspiracy now he realize how much desperate he is, want his best friend again-

Thomas try to drag him away, to not answer Saps. To run, to survive. That doesn’t seem to be as entertaining anymore. He know it will be 1v1, like how him, Saps, and Jophiel use to spar back in Theria. Fair fight.

If he go there, fight and survive, he can gloat that despite everything, he still alive.

If he die, by his best friend’s hand?

It would be the most spectacular way to end. He will not be die by falling off the torch by some rando like his father. Saps always been the better fighter between the two. Perfect scapegoat no more, now perfect executioner. For him and only him. He would not let anyone else kill him but Saps.

It’s the least he can do, as a friend.

Oh how bruised and tainted the white of his friend is now. He still stand that all of this happen would not happen if Saps have his mercy kill. Not be in fight, not be in this shit world. but he also could just…stay.. with Saps. In the vacations house.. That’s too ideal for him. It’s a pipe dream Oh he angry when Flux call him a “friend”, figures deserved. Even after everything, despite him wanting to killed him, all the rage his friend cause him, from leaving him alone with Theria to all of this.

He never truly hate Saps.

So all he can say, hope Saps don’t believe him, He is sorry for everything Saps have to go through. Whether he win or lose the fight he hope he die by Saps’ hand .

Oh, Saps fight dirty now.

Not just regular sand to his face like in spar, but a lava bucket is he going to die like Jophiel?

Good for him. He going to survive after all this.

Oh he missed, lava on him, but it doesn’t feel as painful as the one Saps pour on him.

He free from all the crimes. Champion of the Colosseum. Flux don’t understand why Saps give him a long face. Is he expect the kiss on the cheek? That would be funny and stupid. The shit Saps would tease him back then.

Separate Side, for the last time

When Saps send a message, he know Flux ain’t going to do anything. So he can go down, after all that happen to him he want to see his best friend again Even if he know that Flux never truly hate him even the hell he give, he still furious This paranoia cause at least 100 people who join this battle to die, because of him.

Flux in too deep, he will be an intervention.

He even more surprised Flux show up, more surprised he call him “a friend” It way beyond that point, he felt like he been squeezed. He’s furious.

A friend don’t throw himself off the tower leave mess for his friends to fix

He hurt that hear from Flux that he have to die. At least that’s one thing.

Until he take off his helmet:

He hate that his rage die down from just that.

From others it’s like Flux is mocking him, but he’s know

That Flux’s genuine apology.

He hate that Flux’s words still affect him, that he still care. That his friend backstabber’s words still mean a lot to him.

But at least Flux try is best in his fight. His aim is better, his swings is better than last time he saw him. However, not against him, who have trained under Covenant under their wings. Thank you Turntapp for believing him enough to let me swing sword at you Might something with him, after all he try to survive, he throw the lava at his best friend enemy. The most he ever do to fight dirty is kick sands in their eyes, that what his legs was for after all, other than running.

And he miss the bucket lava is on himself, typical Flux. It’s always funny he miss his shot

He look tired, why he look at him like that? Wishing, even dare to say begging. Wait for his axe to go through his neck.

And it’s the last thing he hear. Flux head is chopped off. The loots are on the floor, left only his head still the same as it was on his shoulder. There’s cheers, but he can hear it. He just look at where his friend die. And people gather Flux’s loots. Someone grab the head. He never felt this much rage since the betrayal

“Give me the armor please”

They let Saps keep it, he wrap the head with his scarf, he don’t want Turntapp’s coat cover in Flux’s blood For everyone and himself, see this as a way to gloat his win. That he get justice. Part of it is true. He want to gloat that he make it out alive he can keep go on wearing his best friend’s armor Parade it, let people see that he will be fine, so they can leave him alone.

They finally let him breathe, let him alone with the head he still hold.

“Time to go back home, Fluixon”

And he spend the rest of the time in solitude, time to think and process everything, he still have nightmares, some even new one. But he will get through it. Because if he don’t, who else going to take care of Flux’s grave
