Chanel Chatham i care and 20,000 people in nyc care and lots of other folks around the world care. maybe you should do your research miss thang. since you dont care about that what do you care about??? thats what is scary about it, is that people say they dont care. when those people are out there being more american than anyone else. they are out there fighting for your voice and your right to even say "i dont care"

Chanel Chatham are you really sitting here making fun of me for this? like im some sad joke? you dont know that the canadians started, and whether they started it or not does it matter? the principles of the occupy movement is based off all things that apply to our country, banking industry, economy, and government. are you unaware of what it is that they're saying? its not old news, whats old news is your apathy.

Shane Knapp Actually, I do know for a fact that the Canadians started this. It was initiated by the Canadian-based Adbusters Foundation. The fact that you don't know that really puts into questions what you are even protesting about. And yes, I am quit...

occupywallstreet:
Thousands gathered in front of Oaklandâs City Hall this evening in response to last nightâs violent police invasion and destruction of Occupy Oaklandâs camp.
Tonight, police have again used tear gas, flash grenades and rubber bullets to forcefully disperse the lawful assembly by Oaklanders. Some injuries have been reported. We will have more information as it becomes available.
At this time, this appears to be the most violent police attack on protestors since the Occupy movement began.
aymiah:
The Occupy Wall Street movement continues to grow and has now spread across the world, motivating thousands to voice their anger at financial and social inequality, and in some places merging with existing anti-government protests. On Saturday, a global âDay of Rageâ was observed, and demonstrations took place in more than 80 countries around the world. Protesters took their messages and anger to the streets from Hong Kong to Fairbanks, from Miami to London, from Berlin to Sydney, and hundreds more cities large and small. The demonstrations were largely peaceful â with the exception of some violent clashes in Rome. Collected here are some images from the past several days as the Occupy Wall Street message continues to resonate and grow.
