I'm trying to popularize a gender term I made up based off of myself.
It is a form of genderfluid similar to genderdoe (not usually presenting on the more masculine side) and genderfawn (not usually presenting on the more female side), but this term is where you never are really in the binary of either (exact definition I made is under the cut, last section in blue).
and I'm calling it Genderdawn! (a mix of fawn and doe)
Please spread the word, thank you
(more details under the cut if you're curious)
Disclaimer: This is all my opinion from myself, if you disagree with any of this, that's alright you don't have to agree, all this gender stuff is a matter of personal opinion. If you think that what I described about my personal gender (aka genderdawn) describes you feel free to use this term, and if you don't like the term, create your own, it's supposed to be you make it feel like it's you. Also, I used the colors above for the terms of genderdoe and genderfawn because I can, I know the history of pink and blue with genders, I just thought using them up there was fun so they could mix into purple, I'm not trying to say pink is for girls and blue is for boys.
Anyway to continue on with my rant:
I looked on this wiki:
https://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Genderfae
because I was trying to remember the terms for different genderfluid identities. I remembered genderdoe and how it had other names, then looked at the "Related ideteties" section and found these terms:
"Genderfaun or Genderfawn or Gendermars: Fluid between multiple genders, but never female nor feminine nor female-aligned genders, unless said gender is also male-aligned"
"Genderfaunet: Fluid between multiple genders, which can include feminine genders but never binary female"
and others,
but also found this:
"Genderflor or Gendervae: Fluid between multiple genders but never male nor female. Genderflor was coined by an anonymous submission to tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags in March 2018[9], whereas Gendervae was coined in January 2021 by Instagram user runawingism."
which is similar to what i'm talking about based off of the description, but also that gender specific wiki (https://nonbinary.wiki/wiki/Genderflor) said, "Genderflor, also known as gendervae, genderdae, or wyvegender, is an identity which is fluid between multiple genders, but is never male, masculine, female, nor feminine." which is not what I'm trying to describe.
I still felt like that didn't fully represent me, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the names
The term I created for what I believe is my identity is: "Switches between genders within both masculine and feminine genders (and other) but is never fully in the female/male binary." - quote by me
So I shall be calling it genderdawn
it does take out the cool fae and faun aspects but dawn as a whole is a cool, often included in mythical subjects so I think it will suffice (also if anyone makes a flag make it similar to dawn colors)
If i got anything wrong, or there's something is missed, please feel free to comment or reblog it
Under the cut is one without green text, and one without green and yellow text. If you want a different variant, reblog asking and I'll reblog with that version if possible
Don't get me wrong I understand a live Zoom love scene may be a hardwatch for some(believe me I saw the uncut version) but I feel like people’s obsession with that overshadowed a powerful story about grief and survivors guilt. I remember one of the Lang brothers discussing a theory during a live about whether or not the events of Jane’s a Car even happened or if it as just Tom being tortured by his guilt.
Honorable Mention: I have to give Matt and Nick their flowers for the writing here, it literally gave me chills while watching the episode. I am forever obsessed with this line.
You know, if Starkid really wants to leverage something as a Tomb Quest stretch goal, they could make one of the goals adding the Me and My Dick soundtrack to all streaming platforms or making it available on their website...
just a reminder of a starkid discord server! (there is more than just starkid, there's also shipwrecked, tin can bros, and smosh areas of the server too!)
Check out the Starkid ♡ community on Discord - hang out with 7 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.
it currently only has six members so please join if you like starkid, shiprecked, tcb, or smosh <3
i witched it back in 2020 (can you guess why) and then forgot about it for 4 years
it wasn't until i saw a tiktiok of Brian H and Joe singing different as can be at a leacky con last year that made me remember the musical
the wierd part tho?
i still remembered starkid, like i had watched tgwdlm, part of Black Friday, Trail to Oregon, and Firebringer. but i still forgot avpm
i didn't know who half the characters where
like i thought Dean and Seamus were made up so that Britney and Brian would have roles in the show.
i only really knew harry and co. with a couple villains (aka Snape and Voldemort.. thats it) and more well known characters
but Quirrell? Cedric? literally anyone else? no clue.
i watched it over google hangout with my friend
i don't have many memories of watching it for the first time but one thing i do remember is during missing you, when Quirrell walks on stage in his little prison uniform, singing about how much he misses Voldemort, i told my friend to pause (they were screen sharing) and i said "wait, is it bad i ship them?"
don't worry they said no and told me about Wang Mu (their daughter that we see at the and of avpsy, they didn't say Wang Mu tho.)
when i re-watched it and i finally got to avpsy (didn't watch that in 2020) i cried
and when i re-watched avpm and they mentioned tom riddle, and the grave stone with the riddles on it i thought starkid predicted they're own au or something.. i did not know tom riddle was actually Voldemort, like in the books
i've probably seen avpm 7 times, and i've read the script at least twice.
none of the art i posted on here will be deleted, but i will no longer post art on this account. So please go follow that account if you want to see more art.
if you've never seen my art, i have rebloged all my art onto that account if you want to check it out.
