My last 3 days. Trying to make up for the day I only got 6,000 or so. Making it work though even with so much to do and always doing yoga too. Did my week 6 day 1 run on Monday and it felt great!!

The last two days. I've been working on the second draft of my masters thesis and that has been sucking up nearly all of my time and attention this weekend. I managed to barely get my steps on Friday and yesterday completely ran out of time. (Only my 5th day missed this year though.) Hopefully going for a run today to help make up lost ground. I have kept up with my yoga though, including a class at the local studio and a two hour workshop yesterday.
Another day, another 10k down and yoga before bedtime too.
Seriously this one was down to the wire. I waited until the baby went to sleep and then it was 11:45 and I had 15 minutes to get 1,300 more steps before the day changed on my Fitbit. Whew! I haven't moved that fast in a long time.
Despite travel and jet lag, I've gotten my steps the last two days. The trick to doing well with movement while traveling is to walk on layovers and keep moving (walk in place or pacing) while waiting at the baggage claim.
You won't regret it..
Some days I might not want to do yoga but I never, ever regret being on the mat. The overwhelming feeling after a practice is gratitude that I did show up on the mat today. Every time.
All done and yoga too.
Yoga, couch to 5k training (including running for 20 mins straight today) and walking around downtown Portland made it an easy path to 10,000 steps today.
Had two long flights today. You get a lot of steps getting to gates in an airport but you are also sitting for a long time on the plane(s). My trick is to walk (not stand) while waiting for your luggage or for your boarding group to be called. Then walk in place while waiting for any ground transportation. And of course I did yoga in the special yoga area of the airport!
Traveling today but I found a yoga area in DFW on a long layover. I had my yoga mat (cause: dedication) and my armband for my phone so I just hooked my headset in and did a 40 minute Yoga with Adriene video. Fantastic!
Yesterday was a good day. Got back on my C25K program completing W5D2, which is the run I did right before I got sick.
Two more successful days with 10,000 steps and yoga too.
Got my steps and yin yoga before bed
Restarted the Couch to 5k program yesterday. Had to back up a week and repeat the end of week 4 and week 5. But I'm not letting an illness completely throw me off my game for months. I've only missed a week of running. Keep going! Also had a bit of a weight gain this week but I can attribute that to not running and being very gentle with my yoga and lax on tracking my food.
So Friday, I just didn't reach my goal for steps. But yesterday I totally made up that activity with a super-long walk! And I had a great slow flow yoga class yesterday morning.
Another day, another 10,000 steps.
January 1 on right and February 1 on the left. Down 5.2 lbs and 2.5 inches on my waist.
