KNOCK KNOCK. Hey there. So, one or two of you might already have noticed that this (Meaning @savagesagacity just like on twitter.) is my new main blog, which was formerly @knockknockwarehouse13. Back then I had several characters logged in separately, with different email accounts. That backfired on me. Since I can only be logged in on one account at a time, especially while I’m on mobile like usually, I decided to create new blogs for all of my characters, all belonging to my new main blog. Makes sense? I’m chaotic, I know. So, to get things sorted somehow, I decided to make a list.

Nell couldn’t help grinning. At the moment she was more excited than anything else. She missed the little crimes of her childhood. Even if it was only to prove herself to others. Her parents, her siblings and now the agents here.

She mockingly rolled her eyes. "Who knew the big bad agent could be such a girl?" She blinked. "Sorry. I don't know where that came from. I don't think before I speak. But you already know that. So it was unnecessary to tell you that. Again." She turned around and walked to the desk.

She grinned, by now more jumping like walking. “Sí. We’re a big family. And all of us are troublemakers on two feet. You wouldn’t believe what kind of stories I could tell you about that time.”

Nell couldn't help grinning. At the moment she was more excited than anything else. She missed the little crimes of her childhood. Even if it was only to prove herself to others. Her parents, her siblings and now the agents here. "I don't really believe she'd buy that either. I'll think about what to tell her later. That's really the last thing I'm thinking about right now. I just wanna know what that mysterious gnome kept from us this time." She rolled her lips in, trying to discretely check the room for cameras, or more importantly microphones. "Don't tell her I called her that. I like my job."

She grinned, by now more jumping like walking. "Sí. We're a big family. And all of us are troublemakers on two feet. You wouldn't believe what kind of stories I could tell you about that time."

Turning back to him, the redhead shrugged. "Haven't thought about that yet. But I would honestly prefer telling Hetty I broke into her office, instead of going directly to Vance or Granger. That would probably only make it worse."

She sighed. She new exactly what he meant, but she tried not to think about it too much. To try to avoid damage at her new found courage.

"I know. But it’s not like I haven’t been in there before. I even saw how she placed the papers back into the desk. I saw the papers...

But that's not my problem." She turned on her heels and rushed towards the office, not even bothering to look back.

Nell crossed her arms in front of her chest. “Hey, I’m no damsel in distress. It’s just an office. And it’s not like much could go wrong. I’m not a child. If you don’t want to come along, I’ll do it on my own. It’s not like I can’t pick a little lock.”

He held up his hands, palms out, hoping it was a placating gesture. 

"Hey, no, I didn’t mean it like that. I know you’re not a child, I know what you’re capable of. I just. It’s not really the lock I’m worried about. It’s who the contents of whatever’s locked belongs to."

She sighed. She new exactly what he meant, but she tried not to think about it too much. To try to avoid damage at her new found courage.

Slowly a grin was forming on her face while the wheels in her head were turning in high speed. Hetty needed to be able to reach the files while she was at work, so if she didn’t carry the key with her that meant she hid it here.

The redhead smiled mischievously and nodded her head towards their boss's office. "I may don't have the files, but I know where she has them. All we'd need to do would be finding these damn keys. She hid the papers under a locked panel in her desk." She turned to walk towards the office. She turned around and walked a few steps backwards, waiting for him to follow.

Slowly a grin was forming on her face while the wheels in her head were turning in high speed. Hetty needed to be able to reach the files while she was at work, so if she didn't carry the key with her that meant she hid it here. Nell shot him a half disbelieving, half slightly judging glance. "Really? You think she'd actually let me keep those? I think there's a reason these are made out of paper, not pixels. So we'd either have to wait till she gives them to me again, or we ask. Even though I'm not sure if our survival chances are better if we ask Hetty or if we just look if we can't find them ourselves. Just FYI."

Instinctively she tried to remember where the woman had left them. Not in the file cabinet. But in Hetty's office. Her desk. More precisely, the lowest left drawer. Probably under a locked panel.

"Hetty doesn't seem to carry a key with her or something, does she?"

She gave It some thought, trying to remember as much as possible. Then she slowly shook her head.

"Well, at first it seemed pretty random. There are, however, a few things that they all have in common. For example it all took place close to the coast. The closest city to the...

She shrugged. "It's possible. But it seemed to me that pretty much every agency in this files lost at least one agent. Maybe Hetty really wanted to know how that happened. But a leak? The only agency who was involved in every single one of this cases was ours. Following this theory there's either a leak here, or in about a dozen other agencies. And as good as our people are, it would only be plausible to presume that it's one of our own. Not our team of course. But our agents in general." She didn't like the thought of having a leak here at OSP. But it was the best explanation to Callen's theory that she had. Either that, or there was a network out of agents from different agencies all over America, or maybe the whole world. Aaaand now she was already becoming paranoid.

She gave It some thought, trying to remember as much as possible. Then she slowly shook her head.

"Well, at first it seemed pretty random. There are, however, a few things that they all have in common. For example it all took place close to the coast. The closest city to the haven, to be more precisely. In most cases the docks were less than a ten minutes walk away. What also slightly confused me is that some of them shouldn't even have been our cases, most of them took place out of LA. We've got Washington, Oregon and a lot of them are also at the East Coast. Maine, Delaware, North and South Carolina and Georgia. And these are only the ones I remember right now. As far as I can tell there was always more than one agency on the case. And even though it was rarely the same way, it always ended with death. Civilians, seemingly normal people. But...in only a few cases all of the agents survived it. And I can tell that they left out many details In those files. Names, places, dates, connections. All covered up."

The redhead laughed. “Oh, thank god! Wouldn’t want our freaks to become any more damaged.”

She gulped and took a hesitant breath in. She didn’t expect him to go back to that topic.

"Well, sometimes she makes me work on older files. Classified case files. At first I thought...

She sighed, but nodded. Who could blame her for talking about this with the Special Agent In Charge? His name kept appearing in those files anyway. Well, the part of his name that they all knew. Even though she'd secretly scanned the files for further information to give him. She didn't know much about his story, but she knew that Hetty was keeping something from him. And, being herself, she wanted to know what. "Many of the cases she's got me working on were last worked on years ago. But there are still things missing. Like, a second culprit who was never found. Or someone who was caught, but without a given identity. And than there are mistakes in there. Like a wrong date. Just by a day or two. But it's another one than in the normal computer files. At first I also thought that she changed those things to train me, but by know I think that I'm not the one she's hiding facts from. Hell, I'm not even sure if she knows the truth! From the way she's behaving it's almost like she's waiting for me to figure something out that she wants to know. She's not asking like she wants to find out what I know, she's asking like she wants to find something out that she doesn't know!"

"Oh, please don’t try that on us! We’ve got those to get rid of our worries, not to become even more traumatized! Who knows what you’d do when someone’s annoying you with some ridiculous stories or questions? I’d rather not risk that."

She tried to bite her laughter back and...

She gulped and took a hesitant breath in. She didn't expect him to go back to that topic.

"Well, sometimes she makes me work on older files. Classified case files. At first I thought she's just picking out random ones to test me. See how far I understand the job. But then I discovered the... holes, for the lack of a better term."

She’s got so caught up in every single sentence of just speech that she barely noticed when he began a new one. She didn’t know him...

She grinned. That was more like it. She could tell that this conversation wasn't one of his favorites. (Not that he's communicating that much at all.) But he took it a lot easier than a normal person with a background like his would have. Even though, thinking about it: Could someone be a normal individual with such a messed up and mysterious background?

She decided it was time to try to make this conversation a little less tense. For both of their sakes. "Wow. 'We can help you?' Where did you catch that? Nate hasn't come for his check up visits in quite some time. Or are you meeting him after work so he can teach you how to be an annoying therapist?"
