A Baker's Dozen

I will be 30 in exactly 13 months! So you can imagine how seeing this tag from the ah-mazing Jouelzy got me to thinking. What are some things I'd like to do before I turn thirty... 

Up until this point my life has not been my own. Almost everything in my life depends on the moods, wants, or needs of someone else. What I want and need is lost in the daily shuffle never to be seen from or heard of again. Until... I realize just how short and precious life is and decide to so something about all the things I've been putting off in order to be everything to everybody else. 

So here's my list, I have 13 months and around 30 things so hold me accountable people. It's been said that I have the attention span of a squirrel so I need all the help I can get!

Make a profit from my business

Buy a pair of Louboutins

Get a passport

Travel outside of the country

Make a student loan payment

Indoor skydive

Ride a mechanical bull

Grow a garden

Go to Fashion Week

Visit New York

Wear a protective style for more than one month

Wear my nails long again

Eat at RPM Italian

Update my wardrobe

Participate in a protest

Donate to charity

Lose between 40-60 pounds

Find an awesome Bible Study and or take a Theology class

Learn to swim

Buy a hybrid car

Eat at Nouveau Tavern

Perfect my beat

Read at least 20 books

Buy a timeless statement coat

Pay my son's tuition balance in full and on time

Get life insurance

Start a trust/college fund for my son

Have a professional photo shoot

Volunteer somewhere

Journal more

Go on a blind date

Go to a professional matchmaker

Go to a professional sporting event

Get a DNA Kit

So in school, my teachers would always comment that my stories seemed incomplete. I never added the right amount of details or supporting facts. I always held back. In reading this post those comments came back to me but for some reason i think this is meant not to read as incomplete but as the beginning...
