Professor Layton Locations | Misthallery

Lush and verdant Misthallery takes the quaint, cobbled architecture of St. Mystere and places it in a decidedly naturalistic setting of canals, lakes, woodland, and rolling hills. The entire town, in fact, follows the natural curves of a steep incline rising to a peak topped with a castlesque manor nearly hidden behind a veil of mist. This mist gives the town its name and also ties into the more sinister legends lurking in the town’s past. At night, the mist thickens to a shroud of fog that hangs over the waterways and hides the monstrous Specter who seems to be guided by the sound of a flute, bringing with it wanton destruction.
