Socially Unacceptable

I'm Eloise :) A socially gauche 17 year old in Sydney, Australia. My shows in no particular order: Doctor Who, Friends, Elementary, Supernatural, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Ties, Spin City, I Dream of Jeannie, Ugly Betty, Broadchurch. Other interests: Michael Jackson, anything 80s and The Beatles. Random (and very correct) statement: RTD era of Doctor Who is vastly superior and shipping the Doctor with anyone other than Rose (aka River or Clara) is the stuff of vomit. David Tennant Talking About his Dislike for Sushi on Room 101-Oh, I have to agree with him here on sushi. I mean it’s gross, and I have tried sushi so many times to see if I could ever like it, but my body literally gags every time I put it in my mouth. And also not saying all people who like it are arrogant snobs, but a majority are, or  they at least think they are better than everyone else. So yeah I completely understand David here.

I was in instant tears not because this made me sad, but because it made me so damn happy seeing him do this interview with this little boy who was probably really nervous and scared. He could of done what the other actors did the boy interviewed who towered over him and treated him like a little kid, but no David was like forget that nonsense I am getting on this boy’s level and I am going to try to be polite and intrigued at his questions and give him all the answers to his questions as best as I can. I am going to go curl up and cry more about his perfection now.

Out of all people, you think feminists (especially “intersectional” ones) would be very vocal about Islam. A lot of countries under Islamic rule treat women like second class citizens, but most feminists are strangely silent about that. 

I guess making theories about the mythical patriarchy and acting as if women in the United States are oppressed is more important.
