While obviously I eat up the fics where Mista is Giorno's bodyguard post canon by the spoonful, I feel like this job title is not exactly fitting for their dynamic. Mostly because, in my view, Mista does a lot more than protect Giorno, who's actually pretty capable of defending himself and is seen multiple times saving Mista's skin instead. Mista is a staunch guardian of Giorno, yes, but he's also, more accurately, his enforcer. He sees Giorno's vision implicitly, then adds his own little flair to it and goes on to carry it out. This unspoken understanding between them is what makes them to me such an inspiring duo
