one thing i love more in the manga than in brotherhood is ed's nightmare. in bh, ed wakes up, breathes heavily, looks scared and then al asks if he's okay.

but in the manga, he wakes up, we get way more of his face and how distraught/terrified he is, he says "it hurts", and he's ALONE

y'all i love angst, and the manga provides it
