However, due to the schedules of our mods and our availability, links to the server will not be sent out until late January/early February. This is to ensure a stress-free open for both the mods and new members, and to give the admins time to prepare and plan. 

Rules

You must be 18+ to join this server. 

Be respectful of others in the server as well as the authors of the fanfictions we will be reading, whether they are in the server or not. 

Any fic recommendations must include at least one member of One Direction and must be from Archive Of Our Own for easy access. 

Make sure to keep NSFW content in the appropriate channels.

There will be no kink-shaming or shaming of any kind in this server. We are aiming to create a safe space for readers.

Censor sensitive topics to avoid triggers and keep everyone safe and comfortable.

You do not have to attend every fic meeting or read every fic that has been recommended.

Hi, anon! No need to apologize at all. Hopefully, you're open to using Discord because I feel like that's where a lot of fic talk happens these days.

You can of course talk to writers or readers right here on Tumblr or any social media, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of people who'd love to talk fic, but if you're looking for a group I think Discord is probably the right place for you.

The one that comes to mind that seems like it might be a good fit is @1dfanficbookclub . I'm not a part of this group, but I know the person who runs it is a very kind person. I hope this helps!

Hi guys, hope all is well.

We've been discussing the future of our server and we've decided that, instead of having one specific fic to read at a time, we want to make this a more casual place to discuss fics (and also encourage people to leave comments and kudos on every fic they read). We'd love any input or ideas that our members have about how we can go about this as we want this server to be a safe space for everyone. Hi lovely people and happy pride month!! We thought that a fun way to celebrate pride month would be to collate a list of your guys' favourite fics set around a pride theme. This could be fics set around gender identity, sexuality, etc. These themes don't have to be the main theme of the fic, but we'd like for it to be present in the fic.

WHERE WE LANDED | 70k | M

The leaves were green the last time Harry stepped foot in Holmes Chapel, a stark contrast to the candy apple, butterscotch painting them now, years later. Harry first notices them on the train, gazing out the window with a down-turned mouth. A warm something floods his stomach–memories, Harry imagines, of him as a boy, longing for the days when he’d live elsewhere and have to take this very train home for the holidays. He wonders how it’s possible to have once felt eager and euphoric at the sight of changing leaves, yet to now feel nothing but tired. He sighs to himself, turning away from the trees to look at his daughter, half-curled in his lap, asleep.

in which harry returns to his hometown with his sick daughter and more reminders than he bargained for of the boy he once loved when he left a handful of years ago.

The problem with being friends with Liam Payne was that he had a lot of friends... and forced them to be around each other. When they finished high school, both Louis and Harry were equally relieved that they wouldn't have to tolerate each other constantly or whatever it was that they did.

For five years, it worked out perfectly. They'd only had to see each other a handful of times.

Unfortunately, Liam had to go and get engaged, ask them to both be groomsmen, and then go full groomzilla on their arses. With just twelve weeks to plan the 'perfect' destination wedding and throw every ridiculous pre-wedding celebration Liam and his fiancée stumble across, it was safe to say they were firmly back in each other's lives.

And no one could have predicted that was exactly what they needed.
