Me 50% of the time: I love to run. Green beans are amazing. Who needs cake when I can have strawberries. PROTEIN. Oh my god peanut butter. I have so much energy! This is my fourth bottle of water today. I love being healthy.
Me the other 50% of the time: I want to sleep for 6 years. When did my bed become heaven. Why did I eat 3 twinkies. I'm too lazy to put on a bra. Being a girl sucks. I don't feel like exercising. My thighs are giant. I hate moving.

legit right???
Here’s a little personal penguin trainer to motivate you to stay healthy (or start today)! It’s not my usual kind of drawing, but if it can inspire just one person to start being more active like taking a walk, it’s well worth it for me. :D
Yoga for runners
Free home workout plan.
Gotta start somewhere

how do you keep track
So I will admit it
I am a data whore.
No I do not mean that i use insane amounts of data on my phone.
Data is useful. So many numbers surround getting fit (note, I do not say losing weight), your weight, BMI, Fat %, run times, sprint distances, waist bands, lbs bench pressed, leg pressed, miles biked, miles hiked, calories consumed, TYPE of calories consumed. Although I personally put more stock in some of those then others (I do not agree with BMI, although I admit is a good introductory way of looking at things), I can go crazy keeping track.
I mean I love numbers. Maybe it is the inner engineer in me, I am not sure, but As I have been starting to run again, I have been looking for the right way to track food and work outs for me.
I have heard of them all, Map my run/bike/hike, loose it, my fitness pal, fitbit, nike fuel band, jawbone, and even the cant go wrong with it Garmin GPS heart rate monitor (granted those are out of my curent budget range.
So, Which one is the best?
I am sure over the coming weeks ill experiment with more. I mostly use the "Map My" series because they are 1) free and 2)simple to use. I try to use my fitness pal, but I am just not that dedicated to logging it in my phone. One thing I know, is that different people have different needs and there is no right or wrong answer. I Even keep an old school excel spread sheet on some things, because, well, I learned excel for a reason, I might as well use it.
So Tumblr, how do you keep track?
Recently, I had a friend tell me that the hardest part of her half-marathon training schedule was in the second portion, when she transitioned from running 5 miles to running 8. This is naturally a hard part, as you’re probably going from about an hour run to quite a bit longer. I’ve compiled some...
SO I am running a half marathon
imagine that
more to come, on this crazy journey of mine, to become happy with myself, regardless of size. I am working every day to gain back that athletic ferver and drive I had back in high school
cheers to me
