So I woke up this morning and got up off my mat in the corner of the darkest alley of the Muslim market. My first mission of the day is to go pick through the trash to gather the un-eaten food behind the near by restaurant. As I take my food to a near by open field I lay out a small trash bag as a mat and begin to eat. What I have, should give me the strength to do my job today. I can't let the onlookers looking down on me effect the rest of my day. I have to continue on, trash can to trash can, in this small border town to collect enough plastic,cardboard and can recyclables to sell and survive. I'm under a lot of pressure to get an ID card to be in this country legally. I saved up $200 and got the proper ID and a week after I got it the government said it was no longer good. So, I continue on, w/this one ounce of hope to turn this trash in my cart in to the resources my wife and young children need to survive. How can I get the education for my children to get out of this cycle and on to a better life? There has to be away....I’m hopeful and looking. “I am a refugee.” —————————Outpour Movement exists to bring Jesus into these stories!
